It connects smoothly with Heroku apps, gives real-time performance stats, and handles things like backups and scaling without much effort.

there’s limited flexibility compared to managing Redis on your own server.

**What problems is Heroku Redis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Heroku Redis handles the setup, scaling, and maintenance of Redis for me,
so I don’t have to manage servers or worry about uptime. It saves time and lets me focus on building features.

Heroku Redis is like a superhero for managing data. It works really well with Heroku platforms, making it super easy to set up and expand applications. It's really fast at storing and getting data, making things run smoothly. It's like having a superpower for handling data in your applications.

Even though Heroku Redis is great in many ways, it can become more expensive as you use it more, especially for big projects. Sometimes, there might be delays in getting real-time data, which could be a bit frustrating. So, while it's good, you need to keep an eye on the costs and be aware that there might be some delays now and then.

-Developing the app is not tricky but manages the cache,messages,database are the challenging job,but with the help of tool like Heroku Redis these thing will become easier.
-you will get powerfull CLI with the Heroku Redis
-It will also help to mange and resolve application and management related issues.
-you will also get High availabilty ,Operational Excilence
-easy to intigrate as well as implement with the other things

-Pricing is littile bit expensive than other tools

- we are using this tool since last two years and before this the manage the appilcation cache,databases and mesages are challenging job for us,but when we started to use Heroku Redis tool the things became easier to handle all the application data.

- it's reliable 
- because of key-value store its fast inaccessibility 
- Heroku Redis is just plugged and play, so you don't need any extra effort to make it work with your application
- Heroku Redis also provide a free plan to work with minimal datastore

**What do you dislike about Heroku Redis?**

- Heroku Redis is somewhat expensive when going to higher plans for your production environment 
- because of key-value store complex query or searching algorithm can not be implemented 
- it's not advisable to use it as the primary database.

**Recommendations to others considering Heroku Redis:**

- you can use it as a secondary database, it's not advisable to use it as the primary database
- if used properly it will make your application faster in terms of speed.
- it its highly scalable so you don't need to worry about it, if right now your need is just 1GB then that's fine you can scale it to higher as you wish

**What problems is Heroku Redis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- to implement caching in our rails application
- to use as queue management for sidekiq queues 
- when you work with shopify, most of the time you have work in background jobs,  if you use distributed architecture , even if you application is in deployment mode worker will continue processing the jobs without any disturbance.
