What do you like best about Heap by Contentsquare?

It is easy to learn and implement. The dashboards and reports are easy to setup and extremely insightful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heap by Contentsquare?

Sometimes with the auto-tracking Heap makes assumptions on events and how users are interacting with your product. Some help prompts when setting up events or reminders to review defined events to make sure they are being accurately tracked would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very strong tool for your product analytics needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Heap by Contentsquare?

Visual labeling has been a lot of help when figuring out which UI elements are reporting and determining analytics based on them rather than trying to explore events the more traditional way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heap by Contentsquare?

There is a lot of information and ways to synthesize it, and it can take some time to determine the best way to present and digest. Most product analytics tools are like this, so it's not a big thing that I worry about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very good platform that keeps getting better"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Heap by Contentsquare?

Heap collects an enormous amount of data that you may not think to use today, but find a need to analyze tomorrow. I export data monthly and over the past few years, I've seen a steady cadence of improvements that have been released -- not just new functionality, but also improvements to the navigation and usability of the product. What do you dislike about Heap by Contentsquare?

I've had some issues lately launching Heap's "visual labeling" tool -- which was excellent when I had been able to use it, but for whatever reason, it isn't working now for me. Sadly, I've little patience for any support response that requires me to dig into browser settings and check my IT department's firewall settings, so I haven't resolved this yet (because that was the advice I got). "Easy to on board user behavioural analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Heap by Contentsquare?

Having the ability to backtrack data to gain insights on user behaviours, even if you weren't sure what you wanted to determine, and having that ability to go deeper on each user journey is only the beginning.

Having the ability to seamlessly integrate with tools for data enrichment and to trigger actions for increasing engagement on the user side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heap by Contentsquare?

Ad blockers mean that there is no way of tracking 100% of user behaviours, however, this is not a product fail and as a Product Manager you probably don't want to rely only on quantitative data to make decisions about your product, although this is great for indicating trends. "More Insightful, Customizable Alternative to GA4"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Heap by Contentsquare?

Visual labeling, historical data is tracked from the onset, session replays, and complete customizability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heap by Contentsquare?

There is a bit of a learning curve, but they have great resources and support. Also, it can be difficult to break down metrics by different domains/environments, but again, once you learn the fundamentals, this process becomes easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Really easy to set up events that can then be tracked. It's a powerful tool in understanding what users do when they visit a page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heap by Contentsquare?

I'd like to be able to create more types of charts, and download the data into a spreadsheet (not in a CSV format) so that it's easy to create more reports from it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
