For example, we often work with new people on a contract basis before bringing them on board as employees. Global Expansion does not provide services for contracts, only full-time employees. So, it would be in their interest to push us toward onboarding as many freelancers as possible. They don't do this. Instead, they are actively helping us figure out when it makes sense to hire people full-time and when to keep them on as contractors. I've rarely experienced this level of integrity - most just go for the cash grab. **What do you dislike about Global Expansion?** Their platform could be more visually attractive. **Recommendations to others considering Global Expansion:** Just chat with one of their people and you'll immediately get a sense of the level of attentiveness you can expect from them. Warm, knowledgeable, professional team that is simply a pleasure to work with. **What problems is Global Expansion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our business primarily employs specialized knowledge workers - right now on four different continents. We hire based on skill instead of location; some team members are full-fledged digital nomads. This has a lot of advantages, but also comes with a set of unique challenges. Global Expansion has been instrumental in overcoming these challenges, especially when we needed a human touch. Before going with Global Expansion, we worked with an EoR that was very much focused on their platform. It helped us hire abroad without setting up entities, but the experience for our people was subpar. Additionally, whenever we needed something beyond administrative handling through the platform, the fees really started running up. After much deliberation, we dropped our previous EoR partner in favor of Global Expansion last year. This has turned out to be a fantastic business decision. The fantastic team at Global Expansion makes it possible for us to focus on achieving success for our clients, especially when that means hiring new co-workers in a new country or even a continent. We don't need to worry about keeping up with new and constantly changing regulations, and our people can move around the globe freely, without worrying about running into payroll problems when they switch locations.
