Function Point is a bit more user friendly than many of the project management and time tracking tools that I've used in the past. The ability to create calendars and charts from a collection of projects is great. It's also nice to be able to track progress on a specific task or job in real time and know how close to completion it is. Some parts of the platform are a tad clunky. Sharing files isn't ideal beyond small images or documents. Collaboration within the tool also takes some getting used to (learning the difference between Notes, Comments, Briefs, Pinning to Dashboards, etc). We use Function Point to organize all of our tasks, clients, vendors and billing at our company. I like that you can put the amount of time to each task that you complete, assign tasks that you can't do to other people and see a weekly view of the times. There are a lot of facets to FunctionPoint to explore and learn, making it overwhelming if you don't have the time for proper training. However, FP's representatives are wonderful and they provide a library of resources for learning.
