There are areas where reporting customization could be more self-service and require less external tooling. Some advanced workflows still require engineering effort, but this is expected at scale and is not a blocker. The important part is that FrontSpin is actively working on this. They ship weekly updates, deliver larger improvements on a monthly cadence, and communicate clearly around what is coming and when. There is a real and reliable delivery timeline, not vague promises.
