"Easy Active Directory Integration Makes Floor Plan Mapping Simple"

What do you like best about Floor Plan Mapper?

Floor Plan Mapper has very easy integration with Active Directory. We simply added an attribute to each user, conference room, or location that corresponds to a position on the floor plan. This enables simple browsing and searching within FPM, allowing us to quickly locate the area we’re looking for. Adding custom icons and features has been painless. What do you dislike about Floor Plan Mapper?

The list is not long. In our environment, we have multiple domains and needed to add an additional LDAP connection. This required making a few modifications to the PHP code and testing to ensure it worked correctly. Aside from that, everything within Floor Plan Mapper has been seamless. What problems is Floor Plan Mapper solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have multiple buildings, each with multiple floors, which can make it difficult to locate employees’ offices or conference rooms. The search feature in Floor Plan Mapper has been invaluable in helping employees quickly find locations throughout our buildings. What do you like best about Floor Plan Mapper?

Easy to use, easy to upload floor plans as PDFs, ability to create custom pins, inexpensive, able to sync employee records, able to be integrated with our intranet (with some work) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Floor Plan Mapper?

The documentation on setting up intranet integration lacks some details. Once syncing with Microsoft is enabled, some of the functions for editing employee desk placement becomes disabled, so you have to turn off syncing, make the change, then re-enable. What problems is Floor Plan Mapper solving and how is that benefiting you?

We previously lacked at good interactive seating plan, so people had to search for names on a static PDF that had to be updated and re-uploaded to our intranet every time an employee started or left. With FPM, searching for employees is much easier, and the ability to add rooms, printers, and custom pins and data along with each pin type makes it easier for employees to find what they need. What do you like best about Floor Plan Mapper?

I very much appreciate the ease of updating our maps. We just modify the room/desk layouts within the original PDF drawing and then reupload it to the site. By the next day we have an updated map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Floor Plan Mapper?

I would not say it is a dislike but rather something I would like/love to see in the future. I wish there were a way to easily input additional datapoints (e.g. Network Jack numbers) directly onto the map. I would love to be able to use Azure SSO as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Floor Plan Mapper?

The floor mapper has been a great tool for our company especially for our HR team when hiring new staff and trying to place them at a desk that may or may not be available. Our IT department also uses the map when assisted is needed at a desk with computer equipment. The mapper provides us with detailed information on each space and saves us a ton of time. What do you like best about Floor Plan Mapper?

I find Floor Plan Mapper extremely useful for showcasing our corporate office floor plan, complete with team member location, job info, and photos, alongside printer and conference room space. It's really helpful for new team members to quickly find other team members' locations and contact info. I like how easy it is to update as an admin and navigate as an end user. The search function is great because it's easy to use with any value we have, and the map feature zooms to the selected space, enlarging the pin to highlight the exact spot. What do you like best about Floor Plan Mapper?

I use Floor Plan Mapper to show employee locations across multiple locations. It was not hard to set up and users have given positive feedback on its look and ease of use. I find the customer service great because anytime I've had questions or issues, support has answered and resolved them in a timely manner. I would highly recommend it. What I like most is the easy integration with Active Directory, which using a Power Automate flow allowed for Floor Plan Mapper to populate an extensionattribute in the users' Active Directory profile.
