For me the most useful thing about the Floor Plan Mapper is that it reads from our AD environment to put people in the proper office without me having to do anything save for setting up the office in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If I make a mistake when adding in an office number it can get a bit tedious navigating the list of offices to find the office number, delete it, and then recreate it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some features, such as the Unique Reference ID, don't seem to have a function. Entering a Unique Reference ID doesn't make it searchable, so it's better to use the Notes section, which is searchable. The same is true of the Departments field, which also isn't searchable. It's better to use the Area function instead. There is no reason to use the Unique Reference ID or the Department's field as a result of this.

Additionally, the Departments field can result in multiple of the same department. For example, if I type in "Clinic," this creates a new department. If I type in "clinic," lowercase, it creates a new department. There also appears to be no way to delete these repeat departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The program itself is easy to use; the navigation to different parts of the program is simple, uploading and adding floors is easy, creating areas, employees, desks, and more is also very easy to do. It allows the user more free will in what they use the program for compared to other programs of a similar nature. It's cost-effective. You can also download data/get reports from the information you input and the maps you create. You are able to create icons yourself if the program doesn't have one that you need. When you delete a desk with an assigned employee, it removes the employee instead of keeping them in the system and unassigning them from the deleted desk. Adding new icons is relatively simple, but you have to mess with the sizing quite a bit, which can be frustrating. I wish that when you uploaded the PDF floor plans, the system could recognize rooms/room numbers; that would make things a lot easier for what I am doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

End user experience is easy for end users to navigate. The cost of the product is definitely equal to what we are receiving. It is not overly expensive, but our experience is that it is a very basic product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You cannot assign more than one desk to a user. This is difficult when an employee has more than workspace at various offices. Printing the maps is also incredibly difficult. The print view does not actually provide how the document will actually print - it will not default to a print area that will work on standard size paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to map out our entire office and keep assets pinned to employees in their current locations. As our firm grows, it's extremely important to track changes as our people move locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The layout to print could use some work. Print View does display all the needed information but formatting text sizes, WHAT to actually display, etc can be a bit of a pain. Sizing it in advance is also pretty difficult; really all my issues with this come from needing to print layouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The pricing is very reasonable, and the user interface is easy to navigate. Support is also very responsive. Overall, the best thing about FPM for me is how easy it is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Management of the floor plans. Adding and removing people is tedious and often lags behind actual additions/deletions/moves. It can be difficult to line up the locator icons, so it would be nice if there was a way to align the icons for workstations, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to navigate and learn Floor Plan Mapper. I find the ability to create new pins and zoom in and out particularly valuable.
