Float.com has the right level of features for us without feeling overloaded. I find it easy to use and intuitive. Support has been easy to contact, and I’ve gotten answers quickly. The different colors make it easy to scan, and filtering bookings by project is really easy. Booking a few days takes just a few clicks. I can quickly see gaps in the schedule and fill them, move time around, and connect people’s bookings with reporting to keep on top of budgets. Setting up new projects or clients also feels intuitive, and I’d happily be an advocate for Float. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I filter by a project, the other bookings just show as gray, so I have to keep a second tab open to see what they are when I’m moving bookings around. I’m also not sure there’s an effective way to link tasks so that moving one adjusts the others, which means a project with lots of bookings can take a lot of tweaking. Splitting a booking to make room for a single day takes quite a few clicks, and I’d like Float.com to handle that more intuitively. In reporting, I’d like to set my default screen instead of changing the report view each time. I’m also told there isn’t an MCP connector to pull out Float.com’s data, and I think that would be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
