# How has Float.com helped you keep track of day-to-day schedules at work?

Float.com has been a very easy, manageable way for me to keep track of day-to-day work and stay on top of my schedule during work hours. I’m still new to the program, so I haven’t run into any downsides yet. If you’re using it too, what’s been most helpful for keeping your schedule organized, and have you noticed any challenges over time?

Float has been really user friendly for me, especially being able to scroll across and quickly see different workflows and projects in one place. It helps me map out my month and also keep an eye on future projects so I know which client to focus on next. One challenge I’ve noticed is that text doesn’t wrap like it does in Excel, so longer notes get cut off pretty easily.

What’s been most helpful for me is how easy it is to enter time allocations, especially since it can pre-fill logged hours for recurring tasks. That makes it simpler to keep tracking consistent without re-entering the same info every week. The biggest value I’ve gotten is more granular time recording per team member and task, so we can calculate employee cost per project. One thing I still wish it had is a way to link with Google Calendar.

I’ve only been in Float.com for a day, but it’s been really simple and user-friendly to pick up. What’s already helped is being able to clearly see how many hours I’m spending on each client, which makes it easier to manage my time day to day. I haven’t run into any downsides yet, but I’m curious how that holds up as I use it longer.

What’s helped me most is using it to track multiple projects across multiple team members, then color coding and sharing project details inside each project for cleaner backend organization. It’s also been useful for seeing open capacity so we can staff varying projects more accurately. One challenge I’ve hit is the weekly hours view: it assumes 8 hours per day, so if I’m under one day and over another, it can still flag me as under hours.

One thing that’s been most helpful for me is how easy it is to adjust scheduled time versus what I actually worked, and it only takes a few clicks. That makes it simple to keep things accurate without spending a lot of time updating. I also like being able to see where both the team and the company are at in terms of overall workload.

Float.com has been really helpful for our team’s planning and scheduling, and I’ve found it very intuitive and easy to read at a glance. The main challenge for me is that I’d like to see more automations in how it connects with other software tools, since that would cut down on manual updates. Overall, it’s still been a solid way to stay organized day to day.
