## Firespring Reviews
 ### 1. Simple, User-Friendly Platform with Responsive Support for Nonprofits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derhasat B. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

What I like most about Firespring is how simple and user-friendly the platform is, especially for nonprofits and small organizations. The website management tools are straightforward to navigate, even for non-technical users, and the customer support team is responsive and genuinely helpful whenever I need assistance. I also appreciate their strong focus on helping nonprofit organizations grow by bringing marketing, fundraising, and website solutions together in one place. Overall, the platform saves time and makes managing digital content much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

One thing I dislike about Firespring is that the backend can feel a bit outdated and not as flexible as other website platforms like WordPress or Wix. Some customization options are limited, and certain updates or design changes may require help from support rather than being easy to manage on your own. While the platform works well for basic website and nonprofit needs, it can still feel restrictive if you’re looking for more advanced design control or additional integrations.

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firespring helps solve the challenge of managing a website, marketing, and fundraising in one platform, which is especially valuable for nonprofits and small organizations with limited technical resources. Before using it, we had to handle website updates, email campaigns, and donor communications separately, and that was both time-consuming and hard to keep organized. Firespring has made the whole process more streamlined and efficient by bringing everything into a single system. It has saved us time, improved how we communicate with supporters, and made website management much easier even without advanced technical knowledge.

 ### 2. User-Friendly Platform with Excellent Support, Minor Functional Limitations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma R. | Marketing & Communications Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

Firespring is a great platform. It’s easy to learn and easy to use, provides great analytics, and creates a wonderful website without much work. Support is always quick and responsive. When I first started running our website, I had no prior knowledge, and am completely self-taught, and Firespring truly made it easy and enjoyable to learn their platform.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

There are just a few limitations that can hinder how the website functions. I can’t always do all the things I need to. Also, sometimes the software engineers have to be the ones to apply a certain function, which can delay certain website functions and designs.

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our website is the one-stop shop for everything about our Center, and Firespring makes that possible by hosting our website.

 ### 3. Best For Marketing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjali J. | Transaction Risk Investigator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

Best for Marketing. From logo designing, flyer and brochure creation to Tracking email campaigns , the team put a lot of effort to make the service effective and they implement them well. They also use tools to check how effective the campaign or the deployment of their ideas were. The website is well structured and is very easy to navigate. They also provide a good customer service.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

Expanding their integration option will make more effective.

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing a Fund Raising Event is so difficult as people may view it differently and it can effect the entire concept. When they implemented their ideas, it felt the basic idea of the event remained alive and everything was targeted accurately.

 ### 7. Firespring is a great Webhosting platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica C. | Marketing & Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

Firesprings customer service team is awesome, they are always able to get back to me on any questions i may have.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

They're east coast, so on the west coast its not ideal to lose their services at 3pm. It would be ideal if they offered some 4 hour support.

**Recommendations to others considering Firespring:**

I'd recommend making sure that you're contacting the customer support team early on in the day. Usually they take a little while to get back to your on your requests.

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I prefer firespring to go daddy or any other website hosting platforms. We're solving the webhosting problem with Firespring.

 ### 8. It's better than a lot of competetors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maddie T. | Marketing Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

I adore fire spring! It's an easy way to manage my website while keeping a unique interface.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

i dislike that the tech support is only available east coast hours.

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the issue that's being solved is the issue of having a web platform.

 ### 9. Easy to Use Website Management Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher B. | Graphic Design & Production Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

Firespring makes it easy to manage quick changes to websites and email addresses. They have many different tools available for use that expediate common managagerial tasks. Their tools range from prebuilt layouts, to prebuilt elements that all tend to work in harmony with each other, without having to do much extra. Implementing your own features is also quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

Speed of use does have a drawback. Although it rarely has a negative impact, having all changes made be live immediately is a bit of a handicap. In order to test changes that may not be 100% without potentially breaking the page, pages must be duplicated to an unlisted subdomain, then tested there. If I could recommend a fix it would be to have an option that lets me preview changes prior to applying. Whether thats in the form of a button at the end of the editing screens that says "Preview" or if it's something else, either way it would certainly be a welcome revision.

**Recommendations to others considering Firespring:**

There's not a perfect solution for any company when looking for these services. Choose what best suits your needs as a company. Firespring works for us very well, but there are always going to be things that other providers do better. I would definitely recommend giving Firespring a shot to see if it is suited for you.

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Website management. Firespring has made it much more simple to manage and edit content that is on our website for monthly promotions, SEO and other website tools.

 ### 10. Easy-to-use platform for non-profit organizations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SheriLynne H. | Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Firespring?**

We get a package that includes website, email marketing, and event registration for a very reasonable price. They worked with us to add an unusual feature (for a non-profit) to customize our template even more than what they typically do.

**What do you dislike about Firespring?**

I wish our Firespring site connected to Rasier's Edge. And I wish the Paymentspring option had quarterly, semi-annual and annual renewal choices instead of just monthly.

Tech support and customer service are *great* when you can get them. Unfortunately, we've had some times when we hit a busy season or something, and then it's been hard to get the help we need (probably true of any provider).

**Recommendations to others considering Firespring:**

Non-profit organizations should do themselves a favor and look into switching to a Firespring account. It's just as easy - if not easier - that WordPress with drag-and-drop interface and simple templates that are customized for your NPO. We save a lot of money and time with Firespring, and every NPO could use that!

**What problems is Firespring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a site that looks like *us* but is in an easy-to-use template. Since it comes with email marketing and event registration, we don't have to use multiple providers or pay multiple fees.
