I use FileRun mainly for managing, storing, and accessing files in a centralized place. It works like a private cloud where I can upload documents, organize folders, and access files from different devices whenever I need them. What I like about FileRun is how simple it makes file management and sharing. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, so it doesn’t take long to organize folders, upload files, or find documents when needed. Another feature that stands out is the ability to access files from anywhere since everything is stored in one central system. I can log in from different devices and still have access to the same files without needing to move them manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While my experience with FileRun has been positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. One thing that could be better is the initial setup and configuration since it is a self-hosted platform. Getting everything installed and configured on a server can take some technical knowledge, which might be challenging for users who are not very familiar with server management. Another area for improvement is the user interface for advanced features. While the basic file management is very clear and easy to use, some of the more advanced settings or administrative controls could be organized more intuitively to make them easier to navigate.
