**What do you like best about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

i love their features and how easy it is to scale your operations with the onboard tools. Smart routing is a daily use as well as the option to see the technicians' stops on a simple map. The integration team was great and we were able to get onboarded quickly.

Thier customer support is slow and sometimes unhelpful and learning to use the tools is unfortunately mostly on you, the training they do provide on it is sparse and they really only show you the basics.

I appreciate that I can find most things I need and if I can't, a quick call to my account rep can usually solve it.

Each time there is a fix for a bug, that fix typically creates another issue or bug to become present in the system, breaking reports and providing inaccurate data.

It is solving our scheduling issues and inconsistent data issues we had with the previous system we used.

The Routing is amazing and I love how easily I can access all of my branches from my iPhone. Reporting is also very intuitive easy to follow. The service report is easy to fill out and very customizable

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

I don't care for the selling process on the iPhone I find it not very intuitive and difficult. I have used better selling platforms. I also don't care for its inability to let multiple users access one customers profile at a time

It's helped stream line our routing and make us more efficient. Field routes is constantly releasing new updates and staying ahead of what their customers are looking for. I also love the ability to text from the app

I like that it houses all of our customer's information.

We have multiple offices across the US, and we must separate them for accounting purposes. Reporting is terrible.

We aren't currently having any luck solving any problems. When we call customer support, I rarely get an answer that fixes the issue.

**What do you like best about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

This Company and Software could fulfill a need in the Pest Control Industry because there are advantages to the actual software when I compare it to the other companies in this market space.  Servpro, Pestpac, Service Auto Pilot, Route Rite.  The cost of the service is also a plus.

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

Unable to group locations under a Bill to account allowing the Client the ability to have just one login to the portal.  Email reminders have no way to know if they have been sent without talking to the client they were sent to.  The routing module is not as easy to use and therefore takes more time for routing costing more on labor.  

The largest problem though is their lack of Communication especially after COVID restrictions.  Emails are not answered and when they are it is more of a generic response.  My personal experience with them compares to when I first started using PestPac in 2006.  It is a good product but the ability to communicate effectively with their customer lacked especially on the West Coast as they were based on the East Coast.  My hopes are that with some time and with the company recognizing their shortcomings when it comes to communication and correcting them, PestRoutes could really Compete in the market.  My issue with PestRoutes is that when our Company made the decision to switch to PestPac and I sent in an email explaining our intentions to cancel and asking them what the process is.  I had to send three emails over the period of 2 weeks to finally get a response and that response was not to explain the process as I asked but it only asked the reasons why.  I was kind enough to take the time to tell them why and then I received an email that wanted me to elaborate.  First of all I am not responsible for helping them fix their issues and second, I was in the process of changing over our system so as anyone knows this is a very time consuming process while still operating the business so I did not respond back other than to ask for confirmation of the cancellation.  At that point I did not receive a response until I then sent another email 5 days later asking for confirmation at which time I still had not gotten an answer about the process other than what I was experiencing which was them dragging out the cancellation and then charging me another monthly fee and also allowing customers to still pay thru the Client Portal which I assumed(bad on me) they would not be able to.

All of this to say that a simple response either by phone or email which explained how the cancellation Process works would have saved me from not just money spent but more importantly the time to continually try to confirm that my account was cancelled.  I also would not be spending the time to write this review.

I have worked with several software companies, workwave or pestPac, SAP, Route Rite, Servpro and this is the best value by far.

Routing and scheduling.  Also billing has been much improved since switching from Service Auto Pilot.

The API is not flexible and segmented in such a way that it makes writing applications that use the data in real time complex. Essentially it’s good for copying data.

How easy the platform is to use and that it is customize able. Pest routes makes it easy to access the information I need. I am able to track my applicators live, go back and review paperwork. Make changes to routes, customer accounts, billing,  scheduling, reports, sales, etc. I am also able to manage all my interstate locations and organize my SP's into teams. 

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

That you cannot search the entirety of your pest routes for a customer without first selecting the branch. There was no training for me in pest routes so I am unfamiliar if there are more features that I haven't discovered that may be helpful.

Whether you manage a large amount or small amount of employees you need pest routes!

We are more efficient in catching mistakes on our service slips. We are able to preform quality control from a distance and oversee the daily operations of our branches. Our customer leason team is able to go into pest routes and edit current routes and send messages to service professionals. We can also add notes to any account that are only available to certain individuals.

I am new to the Pest Control industry and PestRoutes has been a breeze to learn!  It's SO user-friendly and I feel like it all "makes sense".  Everything you need is right where you need it and labeled in plain English.  Learning a new industry is hard enough, but not having to struggle with the software has DEFINITELY made my life easier.

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

The only downside I can think of is that I'd really like to be able to see the Appointment Notes somewhere together, like on the Notes screen. I know some of them are there, but it would be convenient to see the notes that I or the Salesman type in for the Tech.

It couldn't get any easier or more specific to the industry.

Customer service is great. I like how responsive your support team is. I also like how the designers are always looking for new ways to improve the product.

The thing that I have had the most problems with is the scanner portion of the app. It's very frustrating to scan in all the stations and them have them lost due to a glitch in the software. This happens so often that I am afraid to try to use the app to scan the stations. I am way disappointed in the app for this reason.

Just make sure you do a thorough review of the software to make sure it will do all that you want and expect it to do.

Scheduling is great. I am able to get payment easily with a touch of a button. I can run routes more efficiently. I am also able to get rid of using most paper. I like the paperless system.

**What do you like best about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

I would say that the things I like the most about this software are these:
1- Stability of the software (It does not suffer from major bugs/breaks, when it does they are resolved/fixed quickly
2- Ease of use (It takes me far less time to train my CSRs/Technicians/Sales Reps on the software)
3- Pestroutes Team (The Pestroutes team are very enjoyable/easy to work with. They are also very responsive)

It is not a perfect software (I don't think any perfect software exists) but surpasses all other Pest Control software by far. I suppose I dislike not having company specific features implemented, but that is a small dislike in comparison to the enormous benefits.

**Recommendations to others considering FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company:**

So far I have not seen a better CRM software which is focused on the Door to Door Sales and Pest Control Industry. It is a great all in one package.

Mostly ease of use. With other software there were so many user created problems, just because it was so hard to get someone trained on it. The amount of user created problems have diminished drastically.

This program has the capability of being the best and if the developers listen to customers there is potential it can become even better.  Some of my favorite features are: paperless, ability to accept credit card payments at customers house, Customer portal, ability for tech to view previous work done and pictures, easy scheduling, techs can see their schedule, the ability to log on from anywhere is a huge asset to this program!

Areas that need work: not being able to allocate payment to multiple services, -- the Sentricon issues with scanning/holding data, transferring the data from previous owner to new owner, date/time are inconsistent with when we are actually there -- under documents, being able to drag/drop images would speed up the program so much!  We have submitted several ideas/suggestions to make this a top notch program and feeling like our suggestions are being dismissed since we are a smaller pest control company.

Double check on the data conversion and that everything will be brought over correctly.  Take advantage of the video trainings and guides!

Still dealing with the Sentricon issues, the ability to allocate a payment to multiple services (the customer only wants 1 payment ran, not several).

Overall this programs pros outweigh the cons and the potential is there for this to be outstanding if the developers take into consideration the wants/needs/suggestions/ideas of the customers who are actually using this program day to day.  Customer support does a great job and if they don't know the answer they try to get answers for us.

I like the functionality of the site. It really caters to the pest industry. It sure helps out with the visual grouping side of things, the route filler feature is nice also.

The routing/ optimizing features are broken, any tech that has run and organized his own route knows he will be better able to run the route.

I have really enjoyed the organization it has brought to my company. Keeping all stops easily on schedule and routing basics are simple enough that my least trained staff can still make their way through it all.

Anna Newport is a forms developer and she is awesome, we have had to build and design several forms when we moved over to a digital system and she is ez pz to work with. It's a lot of work but we just go from one form to another over the past 9 months. I really appreciate her hard work.

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

The only complaints I hear about Pestroutes is syncing issues with the wireless tablets, but I am not sure yet if that is a Verizon issue or what. Logging in and out and closing out of the app does seem to fix it however.

We have solved many problems with Pestroutes, having digital forms is so much better then paper forms. We can quickly inspect a house and fill out the form then email it from the truck.

I like that it is easy to create and manipulate appointments. It can be accessed anywhere by my service pros. I like that we were able to sync it with Podium so we can pull data.

The software itself looks a bit outdated. I hate that it is always asking me to update my payment information. We are using a company account. I don't know why I would be required to update my information on my personal account.

Continue updating the look. Sometimes it's a bit slow.

We are missing fewer appointments and staying organized throughout the day. The ability to share this information with other software that we use has also been huge for us. This allows for us to attribute specific reviews that we receive to their accounts on pest routes.

The service is easy to use and learn. Many options right at your fingertips. I love the ability to send snail mail or emails to customers, while also setting up automatic invoices to be sent out. Mass emails are a breeze and checking on clients payment status is easy. Also, the automatic credit card payment is a hit with customers!

My least favorite feature is the app. Completing apps for the day is quite time consuming and I’ve noticed a few bugs like the page automatically refreshing and scrolling back to the top when in use. Also, I wish there was a way to send emails to customers through the app.

I have solved problems such as automatic billing, credit card, and service notes. These help meet customers needs and wants.

PestRoutes for us changed everything. Scheduling is easy, invoicing and payment management saves us a ton of time in the office. PestRoutes has a great presentation and looks professional and articulate, just what our clients deserve. PestRoutes does a great job at tracking job progress and notes with task manager and client record.

The most confusing part is understanding how to get the software to bill one address and service multiple others. Still mastering the learning of this!

Get it! We regret not transitioning MUCH sooner.

We are more efficient, save tons of time by having the ability for clients to pay online in their portal. Scheduling through the job pool is helpful and mapping is a big time saver for figuring out route order.

I like how the first thing that pops up when I log in is the leader board, it makes it easy for me to become motivated and competitive on the doors. I also love how I can mark locations on houses I’ve already incomes it makes it simple and I never have to leave the app.

I don’t like how it glitches sometimes and won’t let me log in automatically and I have to put my password and username back in. And the schedule when you click the back button it Allways goes to the next day not back to the calendar.

The interface, the automatic reminders, the scheduling. You can't go wrong when switching to this software. Been with them for several years now and still research other companies as they come up to see if I need to switch but no one is outperforming PestRoutes. 4 years going strong with them

For residential its wonderful. Still trying to work on the commercial side so just make sure and double-check to make sure it has the capabilities you need for anything you might be doing custom and specific to your company and not necessarily the industry.

Look at exactly how you are tracking customers and how you are keeping track of the services and make sure it lines up with what PestRoutes has to offer.

We can search all the notes to make sure anything between the technicians and office doesn't fall through the cracks. Routes are more efficient than ever with their mapping capabilities. Collections are effortless.

The system is very robust but also quite simple to navigate. It handles everything from invoicing to scheduling to reminders. We probably don't utilize the full functionality of the reporting features, as there are many, many options for reports.

I wish we could automatically charge cards without having to manually do it later. It's a simple click of the button, but sometimes it's easy to forget. I also wish that there was an easy way to immediately see which customers required printed invoices from the daily scheduling view.

We love that the software itself is very easy to use and teach to new employees.  Setting up customers and appointments takes very little time.  Software's we have used in the past were super time consuming to teach employees and it was time consuming to add appointments and customers.The support from PestRoutes has also always been very timely.  They helped us implement a data conversion, provided onsite training & support the day we switched over and have always been just an email or call away.

I would like to see some color coding or different functionality in the scheduling screen.

We can have multiple businesses in the same database.  We really love that PestRoutes works with us on creating reports to gain information analysis we never had in the past.  The tracking of employees in the field is very useful too.  One of the benefits we really like is the communication options to customers.  Text messaging, email, and phone calls can all be automated and implemented consistently.

It's a clear window with boards where you can see your sales teams and tech teams. You can easily modify routes or schedules and there is no lag when doing so. Everything seems very seamless and streamlined. The report and pie charts that PestRoutes uses is great for scaling your business and seeing what things need to be worked on. The App is easy to understand and use when sending invoices, images or other documents to customers. Compared to other software's I've used in the past pest routes is the easiest to understand and be trained on.

Sometimes the Orange seems to be too much, maybe if there was a 'night mode' it would be easier on the eyes. The map that the software uses could also use an update. When there are lots of appointments they pop over each other and even with filters there's still overlapping.

Compared to similar programs that I've used in the past, Pest Routes is the easiest to train someone with.

The areas where we have more potential business. The customer who have yet to make their payments that may need a ring. And the clear boards that your teams sit on and how easy it is to move appointments without looking at multiple screens. Definitely saves times and has made our office more efficient. I love that my teams can also modify, send, upload, change anything that they have enabled in their individual permissions. The PestRoutes App is a game changer and the industries that utilize the App know it.

Getting it set up and learning the new program took a lot of time and energy.  Also, we had to transfer all the information from quickbooks manually.

We are so glad that we made the switch to a user-friendly system.  We compared 10 different software and software companies before deciding that this was the one for us.  We do not regret that decision.  All of our employees enjoy using pestroutes and techroutes.  We have been able to save money in deleting a full time office position, saving on paper, ink and stamps.  It has paid for itself.

Once we got the billing set up, it has become very easy to use and takes a few hours rather than all day.  Our scheduler went from two positions down to one, we are able to schedule and optimize the route quickly. The technicians like using the ipads out in the field. It makes their day easier, the downside is that our older customers who don't use email are use to seeing the paper service report. It is easier to see the reports and view of the company from the management viewpoint.

We love how simple Pest Routes makes it to take care of them. Our field technicians and salesmen find it simple and seamless and the office has their information instantly. This keeps our customers happy because we have everything we need to help them as best we can.

We wish changes could be made faster. When we have new ideas that we would like to see implemented, sometimes it can take longer for the team to implement the change. Also, we wish we were kept more in the loop about changes that are made to the software. Sometimes we find out just by logging in and noticing a difference. There are also lots of good features we feel we need more helping knowing how to implement.

I love the ability to create custom reports for my company. There a lot of customization tools for reporting and scheduling that make my life a lot easier. The software is great for scheduling, customization and automation.

I dislike some of the bugs associated with Sales Routes especially. When you are in the sales process and lose all of your information because the app doesn’t auto save little things like that can be pretty frustrating. It seems that there are little glitches that constantly need to be worked out and if I don’t catch them in time, some times it affects my customer base. I also really think the “maps” portion of Sales Routes could use a lot of work especially for admin accounts.

We have been with PestRoutes for 3 years and enjoy it. The software is easy to use for the office staff as well as the field employees. It is sleek and modern looking compared to the other programs on the market. There are many different reports to gather the information you need. I really like the dashboard as you can get all of the information you need from there without having to hunt & search.

Some of the reporting can be difficult to weed through. Their lead system could be improved as it affects the data in the customer report which can be frustrating.This isn't something the support team can really help with as I think it is more geared towards the development group.

It is a seamless transition to get into paperwork rather than filling out paper contracts. All of the information gets uploaded and the technicians can be updated instantly once submitted. Also, if going paperless is part of your sustainability project this will cut out some paperwork in that sense.

The only dislike I have is that a lot of other companies use it as well, meaning the contracts from their companies look fairly similar. But of course some modifications from the user end can fix that easily. The only other issue I experience is of course not having service, but the app will save info offline and upload for you when you have service again.

Pestroutes makes the sign up process official. Having an app on an iPad allows the customer to see that the company is serious about taking information and it also relieves them of insecurities when collecting card info.

I like the ability to drop pins on the housing in neighborhoods, it allows me to stay organized in how I approach reknocking areas I’ve been in. It’s effective for areas that are not brand new. I also really appreciate the color coded ways of organizing customers to allow me to quickly see who I need to focus on to improve sales.

I do not like for appointment notes if I reschedule or adjust the appointment the notes delete. That’s been frustrating trying to work the app by copying and pasting all the time. Emailing quotes has given me a really hard time, very hit or miss and I have no way of knowing if it actually went through or not. This is concerning as I email quotes and some people never get them and then never buy our services.

PestRoutes is always adding new features and tweaking the existing features to make them more useful. Support is happy to troubleshoot any issues. New utilities are released multiple times per month and PestRoutes is good about letting us know how to use new features!

Honestly I love PestRoutes and don't really actively dislike any features. I do wish that the library of Help guides was more expansive. There are still some older features that I don't completely understand.

Very easy to use, payments are easy to run, new accounts are easy to set up.

When it comes to  scheduling an appointment, it would be more efficient to be able to see where it is on the map before it gets placed so we can schedule more efficiently.
It seems that PR freezes often, not for a long time, but seems to happen at the worst times. 
Limited character count for text messages needs to go, or at least be doubled. Its hard to have a conversation with 160 characters

I like the mobile aspect and the ability to enter materials on our phones .

If you are not a computer expert, everything and I mean everything is difficult. We have have customers with dozens of different properties, they have to have a separate portal and password for every account. Our real estate agents hate our system of retrieving the reports . They must down load , print , scan to forward to the closing attorneys. It is difficult to add products to your product list etc. Again if you are not a computer guy this is extremely difficult if not impossible to use . We gave up on some of the so called features because of this . For what we pay we feel we do not get our money’s worth.

Very limited benefits and the only problem we solved is no lost paperwork.

I enjoy the years of being able to schedule appointments, change appointments, cancel them if needed. Being able to see the history of each customer is very helpful in retention. I have found that whenever there is a problem staff are very good at troubleshooting and solving these problems.

Very user friendly.  Easy to train staff.  Reports are easy to find and contain great information.  It's not confusing like other software.  Very clean appearance and easy for techs to use.  Customers love the online portal.

Pest Routes used with Sentricon has been a very frustrating experience thus far.  We have had constant issues for 8 months and are not much closer to solving the issues than were were when we started.  Scheduling is not friendly to a company that provides any special requests for regularly scheduled services (certain days or time frames only).  As a result, we must schedule every service one by one on to the routes directly.

Reporting and keeping track of services has been much easier.  Our learning curve for new staff is much better.  The app has fewer glitches than other software we have used in the field.

I like the map feature the best. I did sales before on paper and it was annoying keeping track of customers and doors knocked on paper compared to using this app. It makes a huge difference.

I wish the app was updated more frequently and had a fresh look. Also it would be nice if the iPad app had multitasking features. More control over customer accounts and service schedules would be nice too. Sometimes setting up accounts with custom service month to month is a little tricky.

Pestroutes has everything. My favorite part of it is all the reporting it allows you to run. Not only can you effectively schedule your routes but you can also pull data from all the work being done and find trends in anything from Reservice rate to time on site.

I have used another software in the past which was complete trash compared to pestroutes. The only thing it had that I did like was it would give you an estimated off time that factored in travel time. It was extremely accurate and made it so we didn't overbook routes.

The ease of scheduling jobs is incredible. Also if we need help, have questions or need specific things added to our account-you guys are super-fast in responding and getting the job done.

Tech routes sometimes has issues for the guys in the field.

Just do it-you won't regret it.

Routing issues are a piece of cake. I can get way more jobs scheduled in a day as compared to before-I always had to build in unknown drive time-now I know how far away things are.

It is very user friendly. Everything is laid out in a way that's direct and easily understood.

I wish it would automatically update. I also think it would be more convenient if I could manually input my check in time because sometimes we are behind and rushing and forget to check in to a route.

My office doesn't always inform me when a stop had been added or removed from my route, but the app always lets me know when something has changed .

I love the look of the finished report. The program is very basic and easy to use. Being able to click on the address and my gps takes me to the right place and has the picture of destination on main screen helps assure you are at the correct address. 

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

At first commercial was horrible, but as I said in title it is improving. I have had issues with app crashing while adding docs such as marking bait station locations or perimeter diagrams.

I like the user friendly experience. There are plenty of training videos and help sections to learn the software. It is very organized and is the sole reason we are very successful.

The sales routes and tech routes apps need to be cleaned up and debugged. Constant issues with tech routes.

Pest Routes is the best Pest Control management software, hands down.

**What problems is FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running the business from start to finish, Pest Routes allows me to do that easily. Easy to set up, manage, and grow!

I love using PestRoutes because before I arrive at an appointment it shows me wjat the address/home looks like and before I leave I can easily charge the clients credit card thru the app as well.

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

I  have found that sometimes when I click to go to an address, sometimes the address doesn't load properly into google maps and I have to re enter it myself.

PestRoutes has helped make our routes shorter and it shows how far away is each appointment.

This software is user friendly, and pretty much turns multiple jobs into one. I am a one man operation, and I couldn’t see running it on my own without this.

There is more than one way to get from a to b, and can sometimes be a little confusing.

Able to run my business as a 1 man show.

**What do you like best about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

Scheduling and sales is what I do most. The scheduling is so streamlined that it's hard to notice I'm using a web based software.   Also the new "leads" feature has been great for sales!

**What do you dislike about FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company?**

Sometimes after completing a task, I won't be able to save what I'm doing and have to start over.  This is probably due to latency issues, but it can be quite frustrating. 

**What problems is FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The leads update was a HUGE improvement in sales. We were using an Excel spreadsheet to manage leads between 5-6 people in the office, and while that was fairly effective, being able to create a lead and convert it later has been such a step up in streamlining the sales process!
