I dislike the limited options to import or export content from Evernote, as well as the slow explanation process and the lack of authentication features in case I forget my password. Although it is very secure by shutting down immediately after use, this would mean that I would have to reinstall all the software and lose all previously saved data if I ever needed it again. I have been using Evernote for a very long time and I think the thing I like the most about it is that it just does such a good job of being both functional and fun. The UX is clear and clean, I can search based on all kinds of tags, and there are a lot of robust options for those times when I need more formatting than just basic headers and text. It's a great tool to supplement when writing or working. In particular, I love how easy it is to capture images and paste them and how easy it is to adjust image sizes. I've been using this product for about seven years, and there was a big update in the middle, so it took me a bit of time to adapt to the new UI, but the updated product has many advantages so I continue to use it. As a fan and long-time subscriber of Evernote I wanted to let possible future customers to know that billing is a mess when it comes to taking care of customers like me. I've been a plus subscriber for going on 12 years. But recently I was told my credit card was not working. When I updated the card and was told congratulations on your payment, I noticed I was now getting the device limitation warning. When I reached out to support they then responded that they couldn't find me in their system. This has now been going on for about 2 years. I just thought that for someone like me, wouldn't it be prudent just to let me have a live chat or call from someone...rather than have to wait days for an email response that seems to never come? I'm currently looking for alternatives and how to migrate my data to other platforms. But I realized why am I having to do this? This is evernotes fault. Why can't they do the simplest task and take my money at the rate promised 12 years ago? I wish they could put this to rest and save my faith in basic customer service. It has a good editor, with many functions to write texts and give all kinds of formats, tables... The organization is so good because it does it by notebooks (folders) and you can get to have it well organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
