&lt;p&gt;&quot;Out of the box&quot; means very different things depending on your lines of business. A platform that&#39;s genuinely ready to run personal auto from day one might still need significant work before you can run a specialty commercial book on it. Worth asking vendors to demo specifically against your lines, not just a generic P&amp;amp;C workflow.&lt;/p&gt;
