I find Evernote to be my digital brain where I can organize my random thoughts, scan papers, and manage long-term research. It's an intelligent, gigantic digital filing system that allows me to just throw everything in and access it within two seconds. I love its ability to clip web pages via the Web Clipper, allowing me to copy any article, research paper, or recipe from the web without compromising formatting. This feature saves me the hassle of keeping links that might not be valid later. The initial setup of Evernote is quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the background syncing feature slow, and it often leads to note conflicts when switching from a phone to a laptop. Additionally, I feel the premium pricing is too high compared to the features offered. I think the format options are outdated and would prefer native markdown capabilities to speed up typing. Lastly, I believe a clean homepage interface would be a great improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
