**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

eSpatial is extremely user friendly, allowing for great customization and endless possibilities. The team behind the scenes is very responsive and knowledgeable, always able to provide either solutions or work arounds. I am able to utilize eSpatial easily when uploading new scenarios for various countries.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

Periodically, eSpatial begins to freeze up, making it frustrating to continue mapping/updating. Luckily, this doesn't last very long as I am back to updating within minutes.

**What problems is eSpatial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

eSpatial provides solutions to creating maps and boundaries that our sales reps can navigate through. Being able to establish those boundaries was difficult with other software we were using prior to eSpatial.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

It is easy to use. You can upload data sets, and then it maps. The formatting can be a bit redundant sometimes. It would be nice if when you uploaded information, it reverted to the last used settings.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

Sometimes the data points are not mapped correctly. Even if you type in the city "Boston" it can map somewhere that is outside of Boston. This has happened with a few different locations then the way to fix it is going in and adding the zip code.

**What problems is eSpatial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It maps for me. I need to be able to type in locations and show the distance between them. It is a very good mapping tool and I use it for simple reasons. I am sure there are others using it for a more complex reason.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

eSpatial is extremely easy to use when it comes to creating maps or territories. We utilize this to keep up with and modify the areas in which we service our customers.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

The least helpful part about eSpatial is not having the ability to analyze between radiuses, such as between 10-20 miles. Only having the ability to enter in 1 value requires us to do more manual work to identify where customers or drivers are within a radius range.

**What problems is eSpatial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize this to identify what a service area is and its boundaries, as well as being able to export all zip codes we want to service that we can then import into our system.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

I like the ability to be able to easily plan my routes for my sales calls. It helps me make the most of the time I have and the miles I drive, and allows me to hit my goals more easily than if I were just flying by the seat of my pants.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

I would love to see a dark mode as this would be much easier on my eyes. I think it would be nice in the future to potentially integrate gas stations/prices and EV charging station spots as well for an even further enhanced level of planning ahead.

It allows me to quickly and easily plan my routes for the day and week to make sure I am making the most of my time and distance driven. This is extremely efficient compared to trying to do things manually.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

The eSpatial team has created a powerful platform.  It is effortless to get data in or out of the software.  eSpatial quickly identifies the addresses in the data and maps it out.  Yesterday uploaded a list of event tracks across the country and promptly identified and generated a list of customers.  Still, I believe the best feature is the team backing up the software.  Powerful software comes with some complexity, but with eSpatial, you just need to select that "Help" link in the lower right.  You will find a knowledgeable and helpful person on the other side.  So refreshing and superior to a chatbot or a terrible guide document (Microsoft!).

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

The only part of the program that I still struggle with is saving information.  I need to educate myself better on what is being shared with everyone and what is just for my eyes.  You will also need to practice some discipline; it is shockingly easy to overwhelm a map with data points.  These are my dislikes, and they both involve my shortcomings more so than the software.

We use eSpatial for route planning, determining the closest customers to a prospect, prospecting, competitor mapping, and I have also found it helpful in cleaning up address lists.

I really like that you can overlap multiple datasets to compare/contrast findings. Their territory building is pretty easy to use as well.

It can be difficult to get multiple people to view items and is expensive.

Visualizing the data through heat maps or radius maps allows me to tell a positive story that is easy to comprehend.

Trying to add multiple elements to the map can get granular or time-consuming.

Not everyone is data savvy, so showing a holistic geographical picture of a particular fanbase in a way that everyone can understand is a huge help. Sellers often mention how the maps were a big help during presentations.

I do think that the addresses/areas need to be updated. Also, There was a change in the website design but I preferred the old one.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

The reason we selected and continuously renew our account is the outstanding support we receive each step of the way. eSpatial invests in your success and wants you to be getting the most out of their platform.   The "how-to" video sessions are a game-changer.   After one or two training sessions, I was able to use the features very well and enlighten my colleagues on areas of our business that once on a map opened eyes within our sales, marketing, and operations teams.   One will quickly find new uses and become better in the manipulation of data and show new relationships and opportunities to serve customers better and improve internal operations.

I look forward to eSpatial offering USPS carrier routes as a data layer

We are a lawn services company with over 25,000 customers in central Texas.  We can show customers by lot size, products purchased, LTV, concenrtaion, driving time, more optimized route planning and cause & effect for marketing programs.

I appreciate the visual representation of all of the accounts and being able to connect the accounts with different filters and tools such as heat maps. It is a great organizational tool.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

I don't like that I cannot share this with other people easily unless they also have an account. When I download a map and send it to someone, it is as if I am sending them a screenshot when I would like them to be able to click into the map and zoom in and zoom out so that it could show them the breakdown of accounts instead of having to send them 10 different screenshots.

It is a great visual tool for mapping accounts.

Our company has just started using eSpatial, so the problems that we are solving have not entirely been decided. We hope to be able to map out the potential prospects for our sales reps. The benefits I have already realized is the visual representation of the connection of different accounts.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

Ability to visualize large sets of TAM data across our entire market, and break up territories in a way that was mathematically "fair". It transformed pissing matches between sales reps/managers and sales operations into data-driven discussions about TAM and conversion rates rather than emotional battles over who owned what territory and why.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

UX was challenging and overly complicated. Support was based in Europe, which made it difficult to reach them during US business hours without advanced notice. We were able to replicate many of the eSpatial features using Google Maps plotting along with TAM data we exported from Salesforce and found the eSpatial tools to be unnecessary. While the decisions made by our sales operations team were supported by the data, our sales team widely rejected them as we made the mistake of deploying eSpatial in tandem with updated compensation plans and quotas, as well as significant changes to sales rules of engagement for crossing into other territories. This led to a more than 50% decline in deals won, an 80% year over year decline in commissions and bonuses paid to sales reps and managers, and general mutiny throughout our revenue organization. Our SVP of sales and SVP of growth marketing were both fired within several months of rolling out eSpatial along with the other changes mentioned, and we lost 60% of our top producing sales reps to competitors because of the idealistic approach taken. The bottom line here is that the TAM data you feed into eSpatial absolutely MUST be both CLEAN and MEANINGFUL to your conversion rates. Simply splitting up territories by a number of potential clients in a specified area is not enough to ensure success. Our TAM data included hundreds of thousands of duplicate leads - many for small businesses that had been closed for years, or multiple spellings of the same lead. It also included large numbers of prospective clients who did not or would not be a fit for our offering, but that feedback was not taken seriously by our revenue operations or sales and growth marketing leadership. This left sales reps with territories that had been cut into 1/4 of their prior size because the bad TAM data showed that there was the same number of opportunities within the new, reduced territories as they had previously believed to exist in their larger territories. Sales operations leaders were running off the belief that sales reps (many of whom had been top performers for 5+ years) had been failing to uncover thousands of leads in their territories, which were in reality, non-existent or closed businesses. This, paired with quota changes and compensation restructuring led to the demise of our sales organization and impacted company culture and growth for over 2 years and we're still recovering from it. ALL THIS IS TO SAY THAT THE DATA QUALITY IS THE KEY HERE. Put in clean data and get out great insights. Put in bad data and get bad insights in return.

**Recommendations to others considering eSpatial:**

As mentioned in the "what didn't we like" section, the most critical factor in using eSpatial is to feed in CLEAN, MEANINGFUL DATA. Bad data begets bad insights. Good data will make this tool much more powerful for your organization.

eSpatial gave us a data-driven platform to minimize territory disputes within our commission-driven revenue organization with the power to visualize large sets of TAM data across our entire market. eSpatial's data view gave us a smooth way to assign territories that were mathematically "fair". It transformed common pissing matches between sales reps/managers/sales operations into data-driven discussions about TAM and conversion rates rather than emotional battles over who owned what territory and why.

Two things come to mind: The styling features and the ability to add data layers! Color coding data helps keep things straight, and I love the little eye icon that can open/close when you want multiple datasets displayed

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

The sensitivity of zooming/scrolling can make drawing custom shapes difficult. I spend a lot of time getting the perspective correct to balance detail with scale. Additionally, the export features across all data sources are challenging to find.

**What problems is eSpatial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we are using eSpatial to solve are related entirely to our Sales Operations and management. We recently had a reorg of team structure and priorities, so equitability balancing prospective accounts across reps (with more criteria) has proven easy with eSpatial.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

eSpatial is very user-friendly, allowing us to spend little time implementing and training how to use the software. When we had issues, their excellent customer service was quick to respond. The drive time feature is fantastic as it allowed us to see how far we could drive in any direction within 30 minutes of our location.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

We found that the American maps are much more detailed than the Canadian maps (e.g., additional roads and more city/town names). As a result, it was challenging to get a snapshot of all our customers within a 30 km radius of our central location as the smaller town names did not appear.

**Recommendations to others considering eSpatial:**

If you are based in Canada ensure the lower level of map detail will be ok to meet your business needs.

We used eSpatial to map our customers and drive radiuses from our locations and several potential expansion locations. With the visualization of the 30 minute drive time from a particular place, we determined the best site to add a dispatch center.

Some functionality from our previous supplier is missing, but the eSpatial team has been open to new ideas and has implemented several enhancements based on our feedback.

The radius tool that ties in we census data makes it very easy for us to pull location data that is utilized for digital marketing tactics. Additionally, working in marketing, we have utilized the platform to map outdoor boards and overlay customer locations.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

It would be nice if it had direct integration with Microsoft Dynamics.  We currently use the 2015 version so this might exist on more recent versions.

**What problems is eSpatial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating sales territories for our traveling salespeople to make up for lack of mapping tools in our current CRM.

The ease of drafting, maintaining, and optimizing territories has really improved our operational efficiency when it comes to alignments.

Honestly, nothing to note on the negative side. The eSpatial team and our account contact Shane Lawlor have made themselves available at all times for training and enablement.

In the past, territory planning was one of my least favorite parts of sales operations and analytics due to inefficiencies. Now, it's become one of the more enjoyable aspects of the job.

eSpatial's is very helpful to a visual of where our marketing team is generating volume, and where our sales team should target! It is a very easy tool to use.

Easy to upload data and format maps. Heat maps give us a quick view of our business and the radius and filters help us make business decisions.

I believe there are other features that I don't know how to use; I just use it for simple mapping. It may be too expensive if you just use it for that.

We are able to show the progress of certain environmental compliance policies across the United States so retailers can keep track of which states they may need to update their compliance practices

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

You can easily create maps from your Salesforce reports, add layers from spreadsheets, and update maps automatically daily. Very intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

Some of the color selections for pins on the map are hard to define. 

If you are making maps that update daily from Salesforce, if a new attribute that is defined on the map by a pin is introduced in the data, you have to manually refresh the data set in espatial to get that data point on the map.

**What problems is eSpatial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits to our sales team in meetings with customers. Benefits to our operations team in staffing, and redistricting.

It is really very functional and effective for situations that require accurate data mapping. I like that I only have a little more than 20 days using it and I already feel like an expert. In addition, I love that I can establish effective data parameters to execute heat maps in a precise and personalized way.

In the short time that I have using it I have not been able to notice deficient aspects of this product, I currently like it a lot.

I can only recommend using it and nothing else. I tell you that it is a good product and it works for me and I think it can work for you.

I only have a little more than 20 days using it and I think the results are very good and I feel very happy…. I think that when I have much more experience I will be able to run many more features of this product with very good results.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

I love how easy it was to learn how to map on this software. I had never used a mapping software before but it was pretty simple to begin using it. The set-up was not difficult either and they had a representative reach out personally to help you with your account whether you wanted a phone call or email help.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

The version my company uses has only 5 accounts/users, which is just not very many especially in a large company. When we tried to add more accounts it was extremely expensive just to add a few more. It wasn't worth the price.

**Recommendations to others considering eSpatial:**

If you want a simple and supportive mapping software this one is great! It doesn't have as much as some very in-depth mapping softwares but that is what makes it so user-friendly. They always have a person who you can chat with when you have any questions and they are very good at explaining and helping you. Our rep also was easily reachable by phone and email if we ever had any questions as well which made the whole experience a lot easier. We liked having the one on one contact especially since this was the first time we were using a mapping software in the region.

We use it for outreach purposes and to plot where our clients are or areas of growth opportunities that we might have missed. We also use it to segment the city.

**What do you like best about eSpatial?**

Ease of use, online support team engagement, loading of data to datasets for reuse and features that are useful and valuable rather than lovely sounding but impractical. A Full feature set for a reasonable price in my opinion. I'd recommend this tool for business users (small medium companies upwards) who need a mapping solution to improve their deployment of resources in field or to target business opportunities. I've used some big name and big price supplier tools and they simply don't deliver the value for money that eSpatial does.

I LOVE the fact that as non-IT/data experts, we don't need days of training and eight pots of coffee just to get an answer out of it and if we have a question, the support team on chat are very responsive and knowledgeable and answer in simple, easy to understand language not techno babble.

**What do you dislike about eSpatial?**

nothing to dislike. I've used the product in 2 companies now and it does what it says it will and does it well.

**Recommendations to others considering eSpatial:**

Definitely worth a try - have your data ready to go and use the trial to prove it's value to you.

Callfile optimisation for sales teams and Optimising routes and territories to reduce headcount and travel costs with minimal impact on customer base.

I have been using eSpatial for about a month and find it way more than I expected.  Being able to easily utilize the system and  visually seeing where incidents occur has helped us utilize resources more efficiently.  The Customer Service is excellent.

So many features it takes time to get properly explore all of the possibilities.
