What do you like best about Employee Navigator?

Employee Navigator is a great platform that is being improved every day. We recommend it to our clients to streamline their employee's experience for benefit administration. The Employee Navigator support team is responsive, helpful, and open to feedback. Employee Navigator's reporting tool is robust and makes HR's lives so much easier. The list of carriers and vendors that have integrations with Employee Navigator is growing rapidly and that is something our clients benefit from in a very real way. What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?

No way for spec files, only 834 files are available for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Historical reporting is difficult and almost nonexistent without having to try to manipulate the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Employee Navigator?

There are a lot of things from several levels of the user experience. From the broker level its the number or carriers and vendors that the system will integrate with making the process for the client/employee experience more seamless. From the System Specialist side with the broker just being able to use a template to help expedite your builds is a major timesaver. What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?

I'm not a fan of the lack of notifications related to failed payroll transmissions. It seems like an easy fix to repurpose the notification being used for success or failure of 834 EDI files. Using the same type of notices for failed transmissions would help resolve a lot of issues. I'd also like the feature of offer images during enrollments on the page content. Our agency has found Employee Navigator to be the most user friendly benefits administration system. Both our staff and clients enjoy using Employee Navigator with the ease of implementation and on going use. There have been limitations I have come across on group to group basis, just like any ben admin system, but Employee Navigator truly takes in your feedback and consistently makes system updates to provide the best platform for its users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Employee Navigator, we are able to switch our clients from paper to online administration. We are able to provide our clients with census and reporting requests in the matter of minutes. "It Makes Managing Benefits A Lot More Efficient"

What do you like best about Employee Navigator?

I like that it send regular reminders for employees to sign up for benefits. Its gives them the option to change aspects during the year such as adding a child, spouse, etc. From an HR perspective, it's easy for me to see what plan(s) employees have elected, what their deductions should be and when they are eligible, with just a few clicks of the mouse. We do have a 3rd Party Administractor who loads our benefit information into it. I simply add and terminate employees and check to see what benefits they have elected for Payroll purposes. What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?

I wish the reporting features were a bit more customizable. Everytime I've tried to print a report for a variety of reasons, it doesn't have exactly what I am looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?

As soon as an employee is hired, I enter their information into Employee Navigator. From there, they are given constant reminders to elect or deny benefits up until the month they are eligible. Once they elect benefits, our 3rd party Administrator adds them to the necessary plans. The same goes for when an employee terminates. Its one less thing I have to worry about, making sure everyone signs up on time, gets added/delected to/from the insurance, etc. This way employees can see all of their options in one place and it's paperless. By far what we like best about Employee Navigator is its Support Team. They are accessible, knowledgeable and almost always able to resolve our issue in one phone call. Paying for a Premier User may be the best investment ever.
