We can also make a beautiful website by starting with a blank page and dragging and dropping elements with the help of Elementor. It doesn't require any coding knowledge. **What do you dislike about Elementor?** The price of the pro version for one website is costly. We cannot purchase the pro version if we are not professional as we will use it on only one website, and the price for that is very costly, so that we will go for a 25 website plan. I do love how easy it is to share design ideas with clients on the fly with it's super simple drag and drop feature for modules (Headings, featured posts, galleries, etc.) Also love the global settings feature so that I only have to implement my client's typography and color palette choices once and the modules adhere to those choices when I drag and drop the bits I need to make up the site. Can also make templates fairly easily for those moments where repetition is part of the design. Popups are a built-in feature, as well as form building with standard integrations. It has become an all-in-one package, which reduces the need for a long list of plugins that could potentially make your website vulnerable. **What do you dislike about Elementor?** There is room for improvement, but if you check out Elementor's GitHub, you know they're active in making their product a WordPress standard. There are moments where you'll want to add a bit of javascript to a single page - and while doable, I do feel their method is a bit clunky. If not utilized properly, an otherwise empty HTML module (handling nothing but javascript) will show up on the page design as padding. The menu design is also fairly basic - there isn't a mega menu option yet, but it is a feature coming out soon. **Recommendations to others considering Elementor:** Elementor has a large community both on their site and on GitHub to give you an idea of what's available. I would also recommend going to their YouTube page and review their list of tutorials to see the Elementor plugin in action. I would highly recommend subscribing to the PRO version if possible. **What problems is Elementor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've been developing WordPress websites since their inception 18 years ago. While I'm fully capable of developing and designing entirely from scratch, Elementor provides the ability to produce these sites more efficiently, meaning I don't have to spend so much time building them. ### 3. The Guttenberg (hopefully I spelled that correctly) blocks were a nice addition and if you're looking to get by with barebones it's a great starting point, but if you grow and want full functionality without coding and more you'll probably end up going with Elementor. I've used Elementor since they first came out. At one point I was convinced they were at the heart of a slow speed site and stepped away, rebuilt the site from scratch and stayed away for about six months. During that time I came to find out it wasn't really Elementor but the site design and general. So I went back, installed Elementor on the newly revised site and didn't have any issues. Bottom line if a site is designed well Elementor will not have a negative impact. Ultimately when used appropriately it offers amazing versatility on the number of things you can do with a WordPress Site. **What do you dislike about Elementor?** I don't have any strong dislikes of Elementor that I can think of. At this stage, they have worked out the small issues over the years and are very active on updates. The one thing I do wish they had was a quick jump back to the main dashboard rather than the post dashboard from the front end designer, but that's a small thing **Recommendations to others considering Elementor:** Definitely give it a shot..even the free version offers plenty of options. **What problems is Elementor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simple web design in corporation with WordPress. It has more support than just about any other page builder on the market. There are also a lot of addons and templates available to help you get the job done faster and easier than all of the competing products that I personally know of. **What do you dislike about Elementor?** You have to go easy on the bells-and-whistles when building with Elementor because of the extra code (also known as "bloat") that gets added to the page. This will also affect the page speed load time - especially on mobile. Also, I find that the form builder has issues at times when connecting to MailChimp. I've also had a few problems over the years with form results in general not being sent to me (or disappearing altogether). Because of these two issues, I no longer feel comfortable using Elementor forms for my contact page or for list building. I now use a 3rd party plugin (Gravity Forms for the Contact pages and CovertPro for list-building) **Recommendations to others considering Elementor:** Elementor is improving the performance of the product's loading times and page speed challenges. Gutenberg produces much cleaner code output, but it's not a great tool to use for "pixel-perfect design" like Elementor.
