"An amazing search engine to search various fields using a easy single query!"
4/5
What do you like best about Elastic Observability?

Some of the best things in elastic search are that it is open-source which means it's available free of cost and promises good community support. Due to this, a lot of learning resources and forums are accessible to assist and resolve the problems being faced. It facilitates searching for multiple fields in a single query, provides performance enhancement by indexing every field in a document. Also, it provides the availability of horizontal scaling, which further improves performance. It provides continuous node checking which also prevents data loss. What do you dislike about Elastic Observability?

Elastic search doesn't provide any measure to manipulate overrunning of resources at any moment of time, it can also lead to data corruption in case overrunning occurs. Unavailability to cope with an atomic set of transactions. The absence of an access control mechanism is also another issue. Focusses more on indexing rather than backups and reliability which can also be really troubling at some moments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Elastic Observability?

Different applications data can be stored and used to search faster. The integration of APM is an added advantage which provides detail trace of the requests. Also with beats agents like metric beat, it will able to provide Metrics. We can create visualisations and consolidate them into single dashboard which is a wonderful feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elastic Observability?

A little extra documentation with known/expected errors. The security and alerting comes with an extra cost which is bit high. IntelliSense feature needs to be improved. Need to provide extra examples with painless script by elastic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customization is amazing! Being browser based, it unlocks a plethora of options and plug ins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elastic Observability?

The same browser based makes it heavily dependant on the user technical knowledge to take complete advantage. Not so intuitive. User has to think through to make some meaning vizzes. Gradually catching up on the intuitiveness part, but way to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It was a good experience using elasticsearch search engine"
5/5
What do you like best about Elastic Observability?

Elasticsearch is NO-SQL search engine full of features and support document format. It support REST API and makes it easy for user to send a search request using any language (backend). Also, if the document type is not recognized by elasticsearch, it adds it automatically which is awesome. Furthermore, the fact that elasticsearch output the search request result in JSON format make it a life saver especially for front-end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elastic Observability?

Honestly, I can't think of any major bugs or cons worth mentioning but I would say that the document upload speed (even using bluk) is a bit slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best available NO-SQL search engines"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Elastic Observability?

Elasticsearch stores data as documents. the storage is very flexible since when it doesn't recognize a new type of document, it add it automatically. Also, your data is safe because it uses clustering and backup nodes. Furthermore, when using search on Rest API, the data is returned in JSON which is amazing and supported for every front-end and backend framework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elastic Observability?

The storage speed in bulk (using bulk API) is faster than the typical storage (one by one) but it is still slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Elasticsearch support JSON format which makes it a lot easier for developers to integrate it with the backend. It has a powerful REST API and creates redundancy to avoid the loss of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elastic Observability?

When doing many search request, the server shutdowns sometimes. Also, the speed of accessing the data even when using the bulk API is low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
