What do you like best about dotloop?

Their Support is fantastic. You can call and speak with a knowledgeable person who resolves issues quickly. Rarely have I had to wait for a resolution. Their printable documentation and video instructions are great tools and are easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about dotloop?

There's some quirkiness to the product that confuses the average user. Duplicate loops are common when agents share documents during a transaction. This requires extra steps and the know-how to copy documents from one loop to another to maintain a complete file of documents for a transaction. When you accidentally drag a document on top of another when you're trying to reorder them, the document disappears and you have to look through the activity log to locate it. When you upload a PDF document that has any kind of security features enabled, Dotloop will not allow you to download or print the document. The Split Document feature isn't always an option and it's hard to know when you can and cannot split the document into multiple documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is dotloop solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dotloop allows us to reduce the paper used and stored in a transaction. We use it to ensure we comply with State License Law regarding required forms. It enables our real estate agents to submit paperwork to our Business Office (Finance Department), which expedites the preparation for closing and payment of the agents. What do you like best about dotloop?

What do you like best about dotloop?

It is a bit easy to "mess up" a loop when you are first learning to use the program.

Maybe it's different now, but when I first started using the program, it would have been helpful to have little pop-ups and reminders to help along the way so you don't irrevocably edit something Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about dotloop?

Finally found the best transaction management system! Easy to learn, set up, and integrate into my business process, which has dramatically enhanced and streamlined my transactions. I now have one central hub for all my documents and communication, and obtaining signatures and sharing is a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about dotloop?

Integration with my company and association/MLS is not yet the greatest and may be due to licensing issues. It's not a deal breaker as there are ways to work around this challenge. What do you dislike about dotloop?

Issues that randomly come up and the delay in support. When support does reply they simply tell you, "It looks like you were able to ..." When in reality I had to do a workaround. They don't bother to check the logs and look at the entire issue before dismissing it as solved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering dotloop:

Try something else and if it does not work for you then Dotloop it is. If you are a team and need team management for documents then Dotloop is all there is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
