What do you like best about dotloop?

Dotloop was working fine. I could see when the documents were signed. My clients had their portal to look at documents once signed. My clients could also communicate with the vendors that I had listed. It is a great transaction management for realtors like myself. The customer support was great. I was able to maintain different client transactions in an organized fashion. I used Dotloop just about every day. It didn't take any time to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about dotloop?

Sometimes it was hard to stay organized and moving around in the different transactions was challenging. Also, it showed square markings where the e-signatures were supposed to be done. I also had an incident in which the other agent I was co-oping with could see another document of mine that she was not supposed to see. Not sure what had happened. My office switched platforms so it would have been a cost to me if I had kept Dotloop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about dotloop?

Their Support is fantastic. You can call and speak with a knowledgeable person who resolves issues quickly. Rarely have I had to wait for a resolution. Their printable documentation and video instructions are great tools and are easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about dotloop?

There's some quirkiness to the product that confuses the average user. Duplicate loops are common when agents share documents during a transaction. This requires extra steps and the know-how to copy documents from one loop to another to maintain a complete file of documents for a transaction. When you accidentally drag a document on top of another when you're trying to reorder them, the document disappears and you have to look through the activity log to locate it. When you upload a PDF document that has any kind of security features enabled, Dotloop will not allow you to download or print the document. The Split Document feature isn't always an option and it's hard to know when you can and cannot split the document into multiple documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is dotloop solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dotloop allows us to reduce the paper used and stored in a transaction. We use it to ensure we comply with State License Law regarding required forms. It enables our real estate agents to submit paperwork to our Business Office (Finance Department), which expedites the preparation for closing and payment of the agents.
