What do you dislike about Document360?

Their analytics tool is good but it could be better and have options for more specific data models and goals. A lot of their best features are tied into their Enterprise Plan so you'd need to upgrade in order to make maximum use of their offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Document360?

1. Interactive Decision Trees

These help guide readers through complex processes via a visual interface. Instead of just static articles, you can build workflows/questions (radio buttons / checkboxes / dropdowns etc.) to lead users through step-by-step.

Why it’s good: better for non-linear documentation, troubleshooting guides, decision support; improves self-service by making it more interactive.

2. Format Painter & Smarter Editing Tools

The Advanced WYSIWYG editor has been enhanced: format painter (copy format from one section and apply to another), more intuitive table handling, improved numbered lists (ability to restart numbering, maintain alignment especially with media in between).

Why it’s good: consistency in style becomes much easier; cuts down repetitive formatting; improves the polish of documents.

3. Enhanced Inline Comment Management

Many upgrades around collaboration: inline comments are now preserved even after publishing articles; multiple users can resolve comments; filtering, chronological ordering etc.

Why it’s good: Improves feedback loops; makes peer review smoother; keeps conversation/context even after publication; reduces “lost feedback” risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Document360?

It's a young team and mostly very responsive. Support is pretty good. They will surprise you with how well they zero in to get to the root of the problem. I've lost count of the number of times customers want to know what is the underlying platform that we are using for our support site. We have seen them grow. They treat their people well. What do you dislike about Document360?

A lot more usability testing needs to be done. As they add more features, some things become difficult to find. We have had issues with analytics. Doesn't report what matters. Lots of noise. I've given a lot of feedback on what could actually be game changing. But not sure how long it will take. Their search isn't great. Constantly receiving poor feedback from internal and external stakeholders. The AI search works but is not really economical. Not enough ROI to justify. They also find innovative ways to charge you. One example is that they charge you for reuse of content. We are allowed 200 snippets, but anything more than that, they will charge. So you get punished for reuse :) Their versioning needs work. Authors have to explicitly fork an article to be sure that it will be versioned. If the author forgets, it will simply merge the changes and no one can figure out who did what. Of course, we have solved it to an extent using Whatfix. Analytics is still very basic. I'd want attribution of work back to the author. Right now, everyone who touches an article is responsible for it. If an article receives a dislike, I'd like to consolidate the dislikes and attribute it to an author. Similarly other metrics. They didn't have a site map for mixed projects so there was impact on Google search. They have recently introduced it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
