What do you like best about DMARC Report?

DMARC Report is a solid and affordable tool for aggregating XML-reports that receiving mail servers send back to sending mail servers.

Thanks to DMARC Report, I'm able to obtain insightful details about the email domains of my clients before I have to ask questions. As an expert in email deliverability this helps me to understand in what ways the companies I work for (try to) mail their audiences. AI is available for reporting, by the way.

Of course, this also enables me to find out if a domain is abused, which can be solved with a stricter policy and eventual messaging to warn about phishing attempts.

As a bonus, DMARC Report offers a hosted service for managing DMARC policies. No need to modify policies manually. This works smoothly.

Furthermore, there is a widget that allows me to integrate an iframe in a dashboard on the client site. This is available in a secure and a reliable way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DMARC Report?

Users of DMARC Report need to understand how emails are sent in general. Furthermore, some knowledge of DMARC is essential to understand the reports. For me, the interface is fine. But for some users, it might be of interest to add some more resources to obtain help or detailed information.

What do you like best about DMARC Report?

DMARC Report has evolved from a reporting tool into a more complete email authentication and monitoring platform. It still does its core job very well: turning complex aggregate and forensic reports into a clear view of authorized senders, SPF and DKIM alignment, pass rates, and suspicious activity.

I particularly value the continuous monitoring and alerts, as well as the added visibility provided by TLS-RPT and hosted MTA-STS. The newer AI-assisted analysis and REST API are also useful additions for teams that want faster explanations, automated alerts, or custom reporting. Most importantly, the platform remains approachable despite its growing feature set. It helps us protect our domain, improve deliverability, and understand what is happening without having to interpret raw XML reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DMARC Report?

The main opportunity for improvement is making the remediation process even more guided. Once the platform detects an authentication failure, configuration issue, or unauthorized sender, it would be helpful to receive a clearly prioritized action plan explaining the likely impact, the safest next step, and how to confirm that the problem has been resolved. What problems is DMARC Report solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I navigated my site to Plesk instead of cPanel, I was forced into the realization that I had to manage my own email delivery. My hosting provider didn't tell me anything about these requirements, nor were their tech support willing to solve the problems for me. So I had to go down the rabbit hole of DMARC, DKIM, and SPF. Sooooo annoying and confusing, even though now it seems so simple. I wish I had DMARC Report back then so I could have turned it on and fixed it with a click. What do you like best about DMARC Report?

The reports are exceptionally thorough and provide all the information I need to monitor email authentication and deliverability. I especially appreciate how the data is organized and filtered, making it easy to identify sending sources, authentication failures, and potential problems without being overwhelmed by unnecessary details. The Overview provides a clear snapshot of each domain’s health, while the more detailed reports are readily available whenever I need to investigate something further. The platform can feel a little overwhelming because of the amount of technical information and terminology presented. Some of the detailed reports require a learning curve to fully understand, and the navigation could occasionally be more intuitive. What do you like best about DMARC Report?

Actually I came acrosss the situation that I needed to remove my previous client's domain but am not in touch with them anymore. So DMARC has got strict protocols that you need to follow in order to do that, preventing you from just deleting the domain.

What do you like best about DMARC Report?

I was unaware until recently of the PDF summary reports that DMARC generates, which can be accessed from their regular report emails. These PDF reports are great both for myself and for clients with whom I'm using this. It provides great insight into email compliance, which can be used to improve email deliverability. I'm a very visual orientated person, and the DMARC reporter fits how I work perfectly.

The DMARC reporter is focused on delivering exactly what I need, without filler, fluff, and executive selling gloss that is meaningless to people who actually deliver results.

What do you like best about DMARC Report?

As a small business owner, I was initially intimidated by the idea of setting up DMARC, SPF, and DKIM. It sounded like a lot of DNS complexity I didn't have time for. DMARC Report simplified the process and got me up and running in a very reasonable time. I get readable reports (I use "Aanalyze with AI" option) instead of raw XML I never understood on my own.

What do you dislike about DMARC Report?

Not really a dislike, just an opinion: I would love to get even more clarity in the reports and improvement recommendations. They are great now, but I think even more simplification would be beneficial for non-technical people. Also, clearer navigation would go a long way, especially for users who aren't deeply technical. One of the best features is the instant, clear feedback showing whether your DNS records are configured properly. What do you dislike about DMARC Report?

I recently experienced some frustration when a domain error occurred, but it didn't surface on the main dashboard interface. While the dashboard tracks many excellent parameters, it would be highly beneficial to have a clear, immediate visual indicator (such as an alert icon or status change) right on the main overview whenever a domain encounters a configuration issue or error.

Email configuration is more complicated for most than experts realize. I recommend adding better onboarding and setup documentation, that would help users better understand how everything works. For example: Start with what XXX is. Why would someone want to setup it up. Written in a non-technical way. For example with MTA-STS Record. Better info on why to choose one setting over the other. Pro and cons. Recommended setups...
