I like the quality and features offered by their web portal. It is a well organized and responsive portal with account management features to ease certificate management. I like how it breaks down what each cert does and the associated pricing as well as the automated features to confirm you are doing each step of the process correctly. The different levels of validation are kind of confusing and the process for initiating a change in the validation process if you made a mistake or typo are pretty painful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Digicert for SSL for 6 years and have used CHAT for support on a regular basis. They are quick, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. They do offer a discounts if you pay for more than a single year up front. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their certificates are pricy, and you can easily finder more budget friendly options if you shop around. They do have sister companies that are a bit cheaper like GeoTrust & RapidSSL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was difficult to access the account once my predecessor retired - I now have to go through support to access anything beyond the order information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Trusted, mature, and flexible provider of certificates. Thawte has supplied our enterprise with server and code signing certs for literally years. They are a tier one provider, and have excellent response (yes, we have had an issue, but only one, and their CS was sharp, and polite - it was OUR problem). Highest recommendation. Slightly pricey, but when considering this type of product, there is value in the reputation of the org, and the steady service they have provided for literally YEARS. You do not want to consider price only, even though numbers are numbers, there is more at stake here, and the company that stands behind this technology has to be up, and they have to be responsible, and that has worth. If there is something not to like, it is only the realization that we have to be willing to pay for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I started with GeoTrust since 2007 with some exchange and IIS sites. The fast and easy service that give me GeoTrust over the years allowed me deliver fast a secure implementation to my clients, securing his environments and create easy documentations for renewal and installation. They have very well documented information for request and setup for people not aware of the process. Very recommended provider for long term business Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The price for some certificates are higher Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I needed an SSL certificate and was able to easily get the certificate from a provider and Digicert allows me to enter some basic details and be able to get my certificate issued in no time at all. This helps ensure website security and it just needs to be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think one of the downsides with Digicert is cost. Their certificates aren't the cheapest and there are free solutions out there like Letsencrypt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
