**What do you like best about DevTruth.ai?**

We've been using DevTruth.ai as a way to bridge the communication gap between product, engineering, and business leadership. It is useful and impressive. Most tools that claim to surface engineering progress either regurgitate commit logs or verbatim Jira details. DevTruth.ai actually reads the room — or rather, the code — and gives meaningful summaries of what’s happening in development. It's not fluff; it’s signal.

As a global VP of Product Engineering, I don’t need to know every function refactor, but I do need to know when the teams' energy is drifting from roadmap priorities, or when we’re suddenly knee-deep in tech debt mitigation. DevTruth.ai surfaces that kind of insight without pulling my leads into more meetings or relying on "status theater." It’s rare to find a tool that respects developers’ time while giving leadership real visibility. I’m genuinely impressed.

Shoutout to the DevTruth team — it’s clear you’re building this with a deep understanding of how real engineering teams operate. If you lead technical teams and want to stay out of the weeds without losing the plot, give this thing a spin.

**What do you dislike about DevTruth.ai?**

One aspect of DevTruth.ai is that it’s almost too polite — it quietly does its job in the background, but if you’re not in the habit of reading the reports, you might miss it buried in your inbox. It’s like having a really smart, introverted teammate who sends you great insights but never follows up. A little more nudge, without going full Clippy, wouldn’t hurt.

Also, while the summaries are sharp, it doesn't entirely replace status/discussions/etc., especially cross-team or at a higher level. You get the gist, but not always the strategy. That said, it's still way more informative than the commit logs I pretend to read, and the platform is clearly evolving fast.

**What problems is DevTruth.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DevTruth.ai solves the classic visibility gap between engineering and leadership. It gives me a real view into what the team is building, without dragging anyone into more meetings or forcing status updates. That means fewer surprises, better alignment, and less second-guessing.

**What do you like best about DevTruth.ai?**

I loved the email updates on what was happening in the org.

**What do you dislike about DevTruth.ai?**

I think the technical MRI is insightful, but for my team size I think I would only look at it about once a month or quarterly. It also might be helpful to have a summary analyzing what is obsolete and what the reasoning behind it is so that I can change my actions to fix this going forward and stop writing so much technical debt. It's nice to have the numbers though.

The information the gap between development/technical team and management/product.
