Default Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI
Is Default free, or does it offer a free trial?

Default does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Default pricing best suited for?

Default's pricing is best suited for small businesses and mid-market revenue operations teams in Computer Software, Financial Services, and Information Technology. G2 reviewers from small businesses (50 or fewer employees) dominate the review base and consistently praise Default for replacing multi-tool stacks without engineering resources. Mid-market RevOps professionals also appear frequently in G2 reviews, citing inbound orchestration and PLG lead routing as primary use cases. Default's pricing structure — custom-quoted with a free trial — fits teams with defined GTM motions who need routing logic, CRM sync, and scheduling in one place. G2 reviewers flag it as less suited for non-technical users expecting plug-and-play simplicity without onboarding investment.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Default?

According to G2's pricing data for Default, no permanent free tier exists. Default's pricing model offers a free trial for evaluation, with full access gated behind custom-quoted paid plans. The free trial allows teams to assess Default's core capabilities — inbound lead routing, workflow automation, CRM integrations, and meeting scheduling — before committing. Default's paid plans, structured around enterprise custom quotes, unlock full workflow depth, enrichment integrations with tools like Clearbit and Apollo, Salesforce and HubSpot connectivity, round-robin routing, and dedicated success team support. G2 reviewers note the success team is a meaningful differentiator in paid tiers, frequently cited as responsive and hands-on during onboarding.

Is Default considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers overwhelmingly signal strong value from Default's pricing, with the majority rating it 5.0/5. A recurring theme across G2 reviews is consolidation: users report replacing multiple tools — Chili Piper, LeanData, Zapier, Calendly, and Clay — with a single Default workflow. One G2 reviewer explicitly calls Default "budget friendly for a 3 person startup," and another notes it comes in at a "super competitive price." Negative G2 reviews cite UX complexity and limited integrations as concerns, not cost. The primary value signal is tool consolidation ROI rather than low sticker price, making Default's pricing most defensible for teams currently paying for several point solutions.

"Don’t switch to Default from Chili Piper. I regret it."

What do you like best about Default?

The workflow builder looks nice but is not effective in telling you in the logs why your 5 user company is going to your enterprise rep when it shouldn't be doing that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Default?

I moved from Chili Piper to Default thinking it would be a major upgrade, sold on all the shiny AI bells and whistles, tight Apollo integration, and promises of a hands-on success team to guide us to success.

None of it delivered.

We’ve had routing issues from day one, and now we’re four months in still trying to get things working. The “AI features” were mostly vaporware or half-baked, and the support team has been reactive at best not proactive or strategic like we were promised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
