## About Dash
Dash is an affordable digital asset management (DAM) tool for ecommerce brands, with pricing starting at $109 per month. It gives marketing and creative teams one clear place to store, organise, and use their brand content. If you’re using Google Drive or Dropbox to manage creative, things get messy fast. Files are hard to find, links break, and teams waste time searching instead of launching work. Dash is built to fix that. With Dash, all your brand assets live in one place — from product photography and campaign creative to influencer content and UGC. You can upload files directly or collect content using upload links, so creators, agencies, and partners can send work without needing access. Once files are in, your team can approve content or leave feedback before it’s used. Dash makes assets easy to find as your library grows. Images are automatically tagged using AI, and you can add your own custom fields like product line, campaign, usage rights, or photographer. That means less digging through folders and more time actually using your creative. When it’s time to launch, Dash helps you move faster. Resize and crop images directly in the platform, download them ready for different marketing channels, or push product images straight into your Shopify listings. Dash also makes sharing simple. Your retail partners need access to your product creative. Rather than dealing with individual requests and WeTransfer files, set up custom branded portals for them. Your retailers can find the assets they need easily, without needing to come through you. Dash helps ecommerce teams to: Store all brand creative in one organised place Collect content from creators and partners without the chaos Find assets quickly using AI tags and custom fields Prepare images for marketing and ecommerce channels Get creative into the hands of your retail partners Share approved assets externally without extra admin Dash includes unlimited users and all features on every plan, so teams don’t have to manage seats or upgrades as they grow. It’s used by ecommerce brands that want less time hunting for files — and more time getting creative work out into the world.

## Dash Reviews
 ### 1. Easy Asset Organization, Strong Search, and Responsive Dash Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like most about Dash is how easy it is to organize and find assets without needing much training or setup. We use it as our digital asset management system for thousands of marketing and production files, and its search, tagging, and collection features make it straightforward for both our internal teams and salespeople to quickly locate exactly what they need.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Nothing specific comes to mind. Overall, it has been a useful tool and it does what it’s meant to do.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Dash, managing our digital assets across multiple teams was becoming increasingly difficult. Our files were scattered across different storage locations, the organization was inconsistent, and it often took longer than it should have to find the right logo, product image, or production file. On top of that, there was always the risk that someone would end up using an outdated asset.

Dash gave us a centralized place for all of our approved assets. We can organize files using metadata, tags, and collections, which makes them much easier to search, manage, and keep up to date. Instead of answering constant requests for files or tracking them down manually, our teams can usually find what they need on their own in just a few minutes.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad Dash has made it so easy to organise and find assets across thousands of marketing and production files, and that search, tagging and collections are helping both internal teams and salespeople find exactly what they need without much setup or training.

It's also great to hear how much value collections and consistent metadata have added for managing your library at scale, and how much smoother things have become with design, marketing and sales all working from the same up to date assets instead of chasing files over email. That kind of cross-team consistency is exactly what we want Dash to enable. And really pleased our responsiveness to feedback has stood out too, that's something we genuinely care about :)

One small favour: it looks like some of the great feedback above ended up in the 'dislikes' section. If you're able to update the review it'll paint a much more accurate picture for other people checking us out on G2. Would really appreciate it!

Thanks again for taking the time to share such a detailed review, it's brilliant to hear the impact Dash has had across your teams!

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 2. Easy Asset Search, Tagging, and Sharing—Plus Helpful Version History

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The thing that stands out most is how easy it makes finding and sharing the right asset quickly, especially when you're juggling files across multiple brands or clients. The search and tagging system means I'm not digging through folder structures trying to remember where something was saved six months ago. Sharing external links with clients or freelancers is simple too, so I don't have to grant full account access just to get one file across. It's also nice having version history so nothing gets overwritten by accident when a few people are working from the same library.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The bulk upload and organizing process can be a bit clunky when you're bringing in a large batch of files at once, tagging everything properly takes more manual effort than I'd like. The mobile experience also feels like an afterthought compared to desktop, so previewing or approving assets on the go isn't as smooth. And occasionally the search doesn't surface exactly what I'm looking for unless the tagging was done carefully upfront.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this, assets were scattered across shared drives, email attachments, and random folders, which meant a lot of time lost hunting for the right file or worse, using an outdated version by mistake. Dash centralizes everything in one place, so there's a single source of truth for approved assets. That's saved real time on back-and-forth with clients and freelancers, since I can just send a link instead of chasing down files or re-exporting things. It's also made handoffs between team members smoother, since anyone can find what they need without relying on someone else's folder structure knowledge.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad search, tagging and sharing have made it so much easier to find and get assets across to clients and freelancers without handing over full account access, and that version history has given you peace of mind while multiple people work from the same library. Great to hear Dash has become that single source of truth too, saving time on back-and-forth and making handoffs between team members so much smoother.

On your feedback: appreciate you flagging bulk upload, it's useful to know where the tagging effort feels heaviest so we can look at where that could be streamlined. Mobile is also on our radar as something to keep improving, so I'll make sure your comments get passed on there too.

On search: it's worth trying our AI search if you haven't already, it's built to understand more natural queries and can often surface the right result even where tagging isn't perfectly consistent.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, really useful for us!

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 3. Centralised, Organised Asset Library That Saves Time with SKU Search and Preset Downloads

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like best about Dash is having all of our assets stored in one central place. Everything is clearly organised, making it easy to find exactly what I need, whether that's product imagery, lifestyle photography or campaign assets. Being able to search by SKU and download images in the correct pre-set sizes saves a huge amount of time and makes creating content much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

One area that could be improved is the custom download feature. The interface gives the impression that you can freely crop or customise the image dimensions, but in reality the aspect ratios are locked. Making this clearer upfront, or allowing more flexibility with custom cropping, would make the experience more intuitive.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash has made it much easier for us to share the Little Dutch brand with our retailers. Having all product imagery, lifestyle assets and campaign content in one place means we can quickly find and download what we need, ensuring retailers always have access to the latest, high-quality assets. It saves time, keeps everything consistent, and makes supporting our retail partners much more efficient.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad Dash has become the central home for all your product, lifestyle and campaign assets, and that SKU search and preset downloads are saving you real time day to day. Love hearing how it's helping you support Little Dutch's retailers too, keeping everything consistent and up to date for them is such a great use case.

On the custom download feedback: that's a genuinely useful point. You're right that the interface should be clearer about the locked aspect ratios rather than implying full flexibility, and I'll pass that on to the product team as a good fix. Appreciate you flagging it, it makes it much easier for us to act on.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 4. Great Value DAM with Clean UX and Essential Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren C. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It’s great value for money compared to other DAMs out there. It has all the features you regularly need to easily categorise, tag, and share your media with agencies. I’ve also found the customer service to be quick and helpful. The UX is clean and simple, with the useful features you actually need, and you’re not overwhelmed by extra add-ons that only have very niche use cases.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto-tagging feature is an area that could be improved. I started using Dash three years ago, and with the recent jump in machine learning and AI, it feels like the perfect opportunity to apply those capabilities so auto tags become more accurate. Better auto-tagging would save a lot of time and also make the search function more effective.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's categorising and making our media more easily searchable. For instance, OneDrive folders you can only categorise by 'one thing'. As a member-based organisation we can now make our media searchable by member, event, date or theme. Downloading in the specific sizing you need is also a handy time saving feature.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad to hear Dash has been good value for you and that the UX and core features are hitting the mark. And great to hear the team has been helpful as well!

Appreciate the feedback on auto-tagging too, that’s a fair point. One thing that might help in the meantime is using AI search. You can just search how you think, and it’s designed to surface the right assets even if they’re not perfectly tagged. If you don’t currently have access to that, feel free to reach out and we can get it added to your account for you. I've added a link about it below

Love the example around making media searchable across different dimensions as well — that’s exactly the kind of flexibility we’re aiming to unlock.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash! <3

Best wishes,
Barney

 ### 5. Covers pretty much every feature which top DAM systems have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parv S. | Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

As both the admin and the main marketing contact for our Dash account, I get to see it from two angles. On the admin side, setting up and managing the system is straightforward. User permissions, folder structures, organising assets across teams, it all works without needing to dig through documentation every five minutes.
From a marketing perspective, the search function is the standout feature. Being able to search within document content, not just file names or tags, is genuinely impressive. It has saved a lot of time that used to go into opening file after file trying to locate the right version or the right line of copy.
Day-to-day asset management is clean and quick, and the reporting gives us a good enough view of how assets are being used across the team.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Integration with Google Suite templates would be a big addition. Being able to pull assets directly into Slides or Docs templates from within Dash would remove a few steps from our workflow and make it easier to keep branded materials consistent across the team.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash has streamlined the way we manage and access our marketing-approved branding assets by serving as a central brand hub. Before Dash, locating the right version of an asset or ensuring consistency across campaigns was a time-consuming challenge. Now, everything is organised, easily searchable, and accessible to the entire team, which has significantly improved our efficiency.

By centralising all our assets, we’ve eliminated the risk of outdated or unapproved materials being used, ensuring our branding remains consistent across all channels. The collaborative features allow us to share assets seamlessly with stakeholders while maintaining control over permissions, which has been a huge time-saver. Overall, Dash has not only improved our workflow but has also increased confidence in the integrity of our brand materials.

 ### 6. Easy Photo Uploads and Sharing with a Polished UX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Halley K. | CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It's easy to upload, sort and tag photos. I like the UX. I also like the public sharing capabilities via collections and the guest upload feature.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish the AI tagging was better and I wish it integrated with Google Drive so I didn't have to download and upload images. I also wish it automatically tagged people once it learned who they were.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great for having a creative asset source of truth. Much better than a messy google drive. As the marketing person, it's much more organized than using a simple folder.

 ### 7. Sleek, Simple Dashboards with Powerful AI Search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara H. | Marketing & Retail Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like the look and feel of the dashboards, how simple they are to use, and the AI search features.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

When using collections to send files to clients, you can’t create separate folders within those collections. If you’re sending a large number of documents, pics, and videos, it can quickly get confusing for clients to understand what they’re looking at and how it ties into their specific deal.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our clients to log on and have all their media at their fingertips, without constantly having to ask us for things.

 ### 8. A big reduction in our design time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine W. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

They've also added an AI Chatbot which I've used and got me to the answer I needed.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

it could do with more of an AI search for assets, e.g. I could write "i want a card which is predominately blue".

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We reuse lots of our assets to create new assets. E.g. we have an image of a chicken with some seeds, and we use the seeds in another image. The problem was the file name didn't tell us that there are seeds in the file. This meant we were spending design time recreating assets that already exsisted. We got all our assets on Dash, tagged them up. It means our design time when creating our games has dropped to about 20% of what it was. Lots of $$$ savings!

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Katherine,

Thank you very much for leaving us a review :) Great that you've been able to ditch your massive Dropbox files and save money on designing assets - that's fantastic to hear!

Totally hear you on the wider searching options. Filtering by dominant asset colour is something we've been considering for a while - I'll add your name as a +1 vote against it so you'll be notified if we start working on this (I've dropped the link below if you want to check it out)

Thanks again! All the best,
Barney

 ### 9. Clear UX and Smooth Shopify Integration for Easy Asset Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

A clear tool where we can manage all our assets. The structure of the UX is clear which makes it easy for everyone to navigate. For me personally I also like the Shopify integration to get all content easily in Shopify without needing to download and re-upload the content.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think that the tool can be improved by guiding everyone at the first use / start to all handy ways how to handle Dash. I feel like to possibilities are so much that it can feel quite overwhelming and sometimes one easy use case can benefit efficiency.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content management, it benefits me so I can easily share content with the share links and find all content in the correct folders.

 ### 10. Empowers Asset Management with AI Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mel H. | Brand Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I love the AI search feature on Dash and the ability to create collections, which we can share internally. I also love how engaged Dash is in taking feedback and improving their platform.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The only thing would be the ability to archive content - maybe photography we no longer have the license for, or previous campaign images we want to be able to review and reference, but can't actually use anymore. Being able to label something as 'Archive' so it exists in Dash, but is in a folder separate from live content. It wouldn't come up in AI search.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps manage our photography and campaign creative, solving storage and searchability issues, and providing easy access across the business.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Mel,

Thanks for the review! Really glad AI search and collections have been useful for you, and lovely to hear that our responsiveness to feedback stands out too, that's something we take a lot of pride in. Great to know Dash is making photography and campaign creative easier to store and access across the whole business as well.

The archiving idea is a really good one. Being able to retain content you can't use anymore but still want to reference, without it cluttering live search, makes a lot of sense. I'll log this as a feature request against your name so you're notified if we start building it out.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, really appreciate the thoughtful feedback!

Best wishes,
Barney
