Dash is an affordable digital asset management (DAM) tool for ecommerce brands, with pricing starting at $109 per month. It gives marketing and creative teams one clear place to store, organise, and use their brand content. If you’re using Google Drive or Dropbox to manage creative, things get messy fast. Files are hard to find, links break, and teams waste time searching instead of launching work. Dash is built to fix that. With Dash, all your brand assets live in one place — from product photography and campaign creative to influencer content and UGC. You can upload files directly or collect content using upload links, so creators, agencies, and partners can send work without needing access. Once files are in, your team can approve content or leave feedback before it’s used. Dash makes assets easy to find as your library grows. Images are automatically tagged using AI, and you can add your own custom fields like product line, campaign, usage rights, or photographer. That means less digging through folders and more time actually using your creative. When it’s time to launch, Dash helps you move faster. Resize and crop images directly in the platform, download them ready for different marketing channels, or push product images straight into your Shopify listings. Dash also makes sharing simple. Your retail partners need access to your product creative. Rather than dealing with individual requests and WeTransfer files, set up custom branded portals for them. Your retailers can find the assets they need easily, without needing to come through you. Dash helps ecommerce teams to: Store all brand creative in one organised place Collect content from creators and partners without the chaos Find assets quickly using AI tags and custom fields Prepare images for marketing and ecommerce channels Get creative into the hands of your retail partners Share approved assets externally without extra admin Dash includes unlimited users and all features on every plan, so teams don’t have to manage seats or upgrades as they grow. It’s used by ecommerce brands that want less time hunting for files — and more time getting creative work out into the world.

"Efficient Asset Organization and Search with Dash"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

I think what I like most about Dash is honestly the new AI search part. It has literally helped and resolved so many of our issues. In the past, I was constantly working on creating folders and adding tags, but now with the new AI search, it's just very easy to search for imagery. The implementation was great and went really well. The support from Dash made us feel secure, and our POC, Alex, explained the different ways we could organize our assets with filters, tags, and folders, making the migration from Google Library smooth and pleasant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

I feel something that could be improved is just looking for a way in which my end clients, like our customers, can have better access to our imagery. We're constantly working on creating collections and then sending them over for our clients to choose the images that they wanna see on their websites. And I know we have portals, but that has a lot of limitations. For our clients, we would just love for clients to be able to see, like, a vast amount of images in a very easy way. And currently, we cannot do that with Dash. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dash helps structure assets, making them searchable with ease due to its tagging process and AI search, benefiting over 400 users who frequently search for imagery and videos, streamlining the process significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Emma,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad AI search has made such a big difference, cutting down on the manual folder and tagging work and making imagery so much easier to find across your 400+ users. Also great to hear the migration from Google Library went smoothly, and that Alex made the whole process feel secure with clear guidance on filters, tags and folders.

On client access: that's really useful feedback, and good to know Portals is already something you've tried, even if it's not quite hitting the mark for showing clients a large volume of images easily. I'd love to understand a bit more about where it's falling short for you, whether that's browsing, volume, or something else, so we can log the right detail with the product team. Feel free to reach out directly if you're happy to share more.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback!

Best wishes,

Barney

"Saving Time with Smarter Image Management"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

The search function is fantastic for avoiding duplicates and finding what you need quickly. I also love how easy it is to share images internally and externally. The support and onboarding were great, and the speedy chat demo for the team was really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

It would be helpful to have an alert when downloading an image to remind users that credit is required. The AI functions and autotagging don’t work as well for us, likely due to the nature of our business and the type of content we manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Dash, we used OneDrive and Skyfish, which made managing assets difficult, especially with duplicates. Dash has saved time for our sales and marketing teams by making images easier to find and share, while improving collaboration and photographer sign-off processes. Hi Nichola,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad the search function has made avoiding duplicates and finding images so much quicker, and that sharing internally and externally has been easy too. Great to hear onboarding, support and the chat demo all landed well for the team, and that Dash has made such a difference moving on from OneDrive and Skyfish, especially around duplicates, collaboration and photographer sign-off.

On your feedback: thanks for the download reminder idea, I'll note it down for the team to consider alongside everything else on the list. On AI and auto-tagging not working as well for your content, that's useful to know, would you be able to share a bit more detail on the type of content it's struggling with? The team are really happy to jump on a call to make sure you're getting the most out of it.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

"Streamlined Content Management, Needs Video Feature Enhancements"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

I like the AI search tool in Dash because when I'm looking for a picture, I can just search it, and it comes straight up. I also like that I can tag pictures, and when I click on an image, it suggests similar images, which I find really useful. I also like the approve option for guest uploads because our team of UGC creators can upload their videos, and it means we can approve them easily. Plus, having all our UGC content in one space is a big benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

I wish there was a way to do AI suggested content on videos as well, as I think that would be really useful. Also, I find that sometimes if I'm editing a video, it can glitch. For example, if I have an edited video open on Dash and an unedited video open on CapCut, and if you have a video open for too long, it glitches. It will stay on the same frame if you press pause or play, or try to rewind or fast forward; it just stays in that one clip. It's kind of frustrating because you have to go out of Dash, go back into it, refresh the video, and only then can you press play. You also can't fast forward to where you want, so you have to wait to watch the whole video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Dash to access all of my company's photos and videos in one place. It keeps everything organized so everyone knows where to put and find pictures. The AI search tool and tagging save me time and streamline work. Guest upload links gather UGC content efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Convenient and Supportive, Needs Minor Compression Fix"

5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

I like that Dash is very convenient to use and has an interface that is friendly. The option to upload PSD file format is a big help for photo editors like me. I appreciate the chatbot that can fix minor issues, and I find the chat with the dev team to be responsive and accurate in solving bigger issues, which makes the whole site convenient. I don’t have to worry about issues because help is readily available if needed. The initial setup was also easy, just one click away, with no distractions, making it straightforward and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

We had some minor issues in the shadows of the PNG files. The compression system on the site changes the shadow and creates a leaking outer shadow on the edges of the images of the PNG file. We were called out multiple times due to these leaking shadows, but eventually, we found it's just visual issues on the website, and it's not visible when downloaded. The compression system for transparent background images (PNG files) can be improved, or if it really is a website compression limitation, you can add a prompt in the chatbot that confirms this limitation and gives assurance that the leaking shadow in PNG files is gone once the original copy is downloaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dash is convenient and supports PSD uploads, crucial for photo editors like me. Its user-friendly interface and responsive support—chatbot and quick developer assistance—make resolving issues hassle-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Phillip,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad PSD upload support has been such a help for your photo editing work, and that the interface, chatbot, and quick access to the dev team for bigger issues have all made things feel convenient and hassle-free. Great to hear setup was so easy too, just one click and no distractions.

On the PNG compression issue: thanks for digging into that and confirming it's a display-only quirk in the preview rather than something that carries through to the downloaded file, that's really useful detail. Your suggestion about having the chatbot proactively reassure users on this is a great one too, a simple confirmation that the shadow issue is preview-only would save a lot of back-and-forth, so I'll pass that on as a feature request.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback!

Best wishes,

Barney

"Dash Is the Backbone of Our Creative Agency—Customizable, Fast, and Client-Friendly"

4/5

What do you like best about Dash?

I have been using the software daily for 7 months and have no complaints so far. I love that you can customize, sort, and tag every item. It is very easy to navigate and find the item I need. We work with 30+ accounts, so Dash fits our needs and is the backbone of our creative agency. It is pretty fast with normal uploads, however Dash take a while when uploading larger files. It has been great with reaching our clients, we are able to send out Dash upload links to each client when onboarding, which has been very helpful. I don't manage billing directly, but I think DAMs are "you get what you pay for" and Dash is definitely one of the best of the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

I wish that naming and tagging each item was more streamlined. I don't know what this would look like, but it is tedious with large uploads. I also do not like that I can name an item on Dash but then when I download it, it downloads as the original file name that was uploaded. These defeats the purpose of naming it, really. The last issue I have is with the client upload guest link. It is tedious that each item has to be approved one by one and there is no select/mass approval button for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dash allows us to be professional when we are doing any client facing file sharing. It also helps us when we are looking for items. Everything is easy to find and stored nicely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review, and for being a daily user for 7 months! Really glad customising, sorting and tagging every item has made things so easy to navigate, and that Dash has become the backbone for managing 30+ accounts at the agency. Also great to hear the upload links have made onboarding new clients so much smoother, and that the value for money has stood out too.

On your feedback: on tagging and naming feeling tedious with large uploads, it’s definitely worth a call with our Customer Success team - it’s free and they can help streamline your taxonomy and tagging setup to cut down on that manual effort.

For filenames, good news, we’ve just released a setting under Admin \> Preset Sizes \> Original that lets you use the title you’ve set in Dash as the downloaded filename, so that should solve that one directly.

And lastly on approvals, you can actually hold shift and click to bulk select and approve assets, and there’s also an “Approve All” button in the approvals area if you want to clear everything in one go.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, and I hope those tips help smooth a few things out day to day!

Best wishes,

Barney

"Easy Asset Organization, Strong Search, and Responsive Dash Support"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

What I like most about Dash is how easy it is to organize and find assets without needing much training or setup. We use it as our digital asset management system for thousands of marketing and production files, and its search, tagging, and collection features make it straightforward for both our internal teams and salespeople to quickly locate exactly what they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

Nothing specific comes to mind. Overall, it has been a useful tool and it does what it’s meant to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Dash, managing our digital assets across multiple teams was becoming increasingly difficult. Our files were scattered across different storage locations, the organization was inconsistent, and it often took longer than it should have to find the right logo, product image, or production file. On top of that, there was always the risk that someone would end up using an outdated asset.

Dash gave us a centralized place for all of our approved assets. We can organize files using metadata, tags, and collections, which makes them much easier to search, manage, and keep up to date. Instead of answering constant requests for files or tracking them down manually, our teams can usually find what they need on their own in just a few minutes. Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad Dash has made it so easy to organise and find assets across thousands of marketing and production files, and that search, tagging and collections are helping both internal teams and salespeople find exactly what they need without much setup or training.

It's also great to hear how much value collections and consistent metadata have added for managing your library at scale, and how much smoother things have become with design, marketing and sales all working from the same up to date assets instead of chasing files over email. That kind of cross-team consistency is exactly what we want Dash to enable. And really pleased our responsiveness to feedback has stood out too, that's something we genuinely care about :)

One small favour: it looks like some of the great feedback above ended up in the 'dislikes' section. If you're able to update the review it'll paint a much more accurate picture for other people checking us out on G2. Would really appreciate it!

Thanks again for taking the time to share such a detailed review, it's brilliant to hear the impact Dash has had across your teams!

"A Game-Changer for Asset Management"

5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

Dash has been a great asset management platform for our team. Its clean and intuitive interface makes it easy to learn and navigate, even for new users. Everything is well organized, so finding and managing assets is quick and straightforward.

One of the biggest advantages of Dash is its performance. Pages load quickly, searches are responsive, and the overall experience feels smooth without unnecessary complexity. This saves time in day-to-day operations and makes asset management much more efficient.

Overall, Dash stands out for its ease of use, simple yet effective design, and fast performance. It's a reliable solution that helps teams stay organized and productive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an efficient digital asset management platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

Auto-Tagging might not be consistent. Folder search is not always intuitive. Maybe better bulk download organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dash solves the challenge of keeping all of our digital assets organized, searchable, and accessible in one central location. With Dash, everything is easy to locate and fast search capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad the interface has felt clean and intuitive for new and existing users alike, and that speed has been such a standout too, fast page loads and responsive search making a real difference to day-to-day efficiency. Great to hear Dash has become that reliable central home for keeping everything organised and accessible for the team.

On your feedback: auto-tagging consistency is something we know has room to improve, and in the meantime our AI search can help bridge that gap since it's designed to understand more natural queries even where tagging isn't perfect. Folder search and bulk download organisation are both good shouts too, I'll make sure they're logged so you're notified if we start working on either.

"Easy Asset Search, Tagging, and Sharing—Plus Helpful Version History"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Dash?

The thing that stands out most is how easy it makes finding and sharing the right asset quickly, especially when you're juggling files across multiple brands or clients. The search and tagging system means I'm not digging through folder structures trying to remember where something was saved six months ago. Sharing external links with clients or freelancers is simple too, so I don't have to grant full account access just to get one file across. It's also nice having version history so nothing gets overwritten by accident when a few people are working from the same library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

The bulk upload and organizing process can be a bit clunky when you're bringing in a large batch of files at once, tagging everything properly takes more manual effort than I'd like. The mobile experience also feels like an afterthought compared to desktop, so previewing or approving assets on the go isn't as smooth. And occasionally the search doesn't surface exactly what I'm looking for unless the tagging was done carefully upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before this, assets were scattered across shared drives, email attachments, and random folders, which meant a lot of time lost hunting for the right file or worse, using an outdated version by mistake. Dash centralizes everything in one place, so there's a single source of truth for approved assets. That's saved real time on back-and-forth with clients and freelancers, since I can just send a link instead of chasing down files or re-exporting things. It's also made handoffs between team members smoother, since anyone can find what they need without relying on someone else's folder structure knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad search, tagging and sharing have made it so much easier to find and get assets across to clients and freelancers without handing over full account access, and that version history has given you peace of mind while multiple people work from the same library. Great to hear Dash has become that single source of truth too, saving time on back-and-forth and making handoffs between team members so much smoother.

On your feedback: appreciate you flagging bulk upload, it's useful to know where the tagging effort feels heaviest so we can look at where that could be streamlined. Mobile is also on our radar as something to keep improving, so I'll make sure your comments get passed on there too.

On search: it's worth trying our AI search if you haven't already, it's built to understand more natural queries and can often surface the right result even where tagging isn't perfectly consistent.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, really useful for us!

"Centralised, Organised Asset Library That Saves Time with SKU Search and Preset Downloads"

4/5

What do you like best about Dash?

What I like best about Dash is having all of our assets stored in one central place. Everything is clearly organised, making it easy to find exactly what I need, whether that's product imagery, lifestyle photography or campaign assets. Being able to search by SKU and download images in the correct pre-set sizes saves a huge amount of time and makes creating content much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dash?

One area that could be improved is the custom download feature. The interface gives the impression that you can freely crop or customise the image dimensions, but in reality the aspect ratios are locked. Making this clearer upfront, or allowing more flexibility with custom cropping, would make the experience more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dash has made it much easier for us to share the Little Dutch brand with our retailers. Having all product imagery, lifestyle assets and campaign content in one place means we can quickly find and download what we need, ensuring retailers always have access to the latest, high-quality assets. It saves time, keeps everything consistent, and makes supporting our retail partners much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad Dash has become the central home for all your product, lifestyle and campaign assets, and that SKU search and preset downloads are saving you real time day to day. Love hearing how it's helping you support Little Dutch's retailers too, keeping everything consistent and up to date for them is such a great use case.

On the custom download feedback: that's a genuinely useful point. You're right that the interface should be clearer about the locked aspect ratios rather than implying full flexibility, and I'll pass that on to the product team as a good fix. Appreciate you flagging it, it makes it much easier for us to act on.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!
