## About CrossLetter
CrossLetter — The easiest way to grow your newsletter through real partnerships. Growing a newsletter is hard. Paying for ads gets expensive fast, and organic social is a grind that feeds someone else's algorithm. Cross-promotion — recommending each other's newsletters to aligned audiences — is one of the most effective (and free) growth levers available. The problem? Finding the right partners is tedious, scattered, and usually involves a lot of awkward cold outreach. CrossLetter fixes that. It's a free platform where newsletter creators list their publications, signal they're open to cross-promotion or sponsorship, and discover other newsletters worth partnering with. No middleman taking a cut. No algorithm deciding who sees what. You find a good fit, you reach out, you build a real relationship. CrossLetter gets out of the way and lets that happen. What you can do with CrossLetter: List your newsletter with your audience details, niche, and partnership preferences Browse and discover newsletters open to cross-promotion Find and connect with potential sponsors Create curated collections of newsletters you recommend Who it's for: Newsletter creators, independent publishers, and brands looking to reach engaged, niche audiences — without burning budget on paid acquisition. Whether you're at 500 subscribers or 50,000, cross-promotion works when the audiences align. CrossLetter makes finding that alignment simple. Free to use. No gated features. No catch. Built by newsletter operators who got tired of doing this the hard way.

## CrossLetter Reviews
 ### 1. Clean, Fast, and Easy Newsletter Sponsorship & Cross-Promotion with CrossLetter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon H. | Business Owner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about CrossLetter?**

I absolutely love CrossLetter, and it's free to get started. It's so clean, everything is laid out with lots of whitespace.

It's so easy to filter and find the exact newsletters that I want to either sponsor or cross-promote.

There are lots of additional features, like email tools and free resources, in the sign-up process.

It is a fast and smooth sign-up process, and it's also really easy to use and quick to get started whenever you're adding your own newsletter.

The founders are also very responsive, adding new features or fixing bugs, and I don't think there's anything quite like it in the newsletter space at the moment.

**What do you dislike about CrossLetter?**

There's nothing I "dislike" about CrossLetter.

Although, as the platform grows, some form of AI recommendation and discovery would be very useful as a complement to the current filter system.

Whilst missing at the moment, a payment processing feature would be very useful, and I know that's in the works.

**What problems is CrossLetter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CrossLetter makes it very easy to discover other newsletters I can cross-promote with, sponsor, or find sponsorship for my publications.

It's added another potential monetisation channel for my business.

 ### 2. CrossLetter Makes Finding the Right Cross-Promotion Partners Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eren D. | Co-Founder / Chief Creative Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about CrossLetter?**

CrossLetter fills a real gap. In the newsletter space, when publishers collaborate on cross-promotion, it’s surprisingly hard to find other newsletters with genuinely overlapping audiences. And when you can’t find a partner with a relevant audience, cross-promotion quickly becomes pointless. CrossLetter addresses that problem by helping newsletter operators grow for free, by matching them with suitable cross-promotion partners.

**What do you dislike about CrossLetter?**

The current newsletter pool feels a bit tighter than I expected. Right now, it’s somewhat difficult to find a cross-promotion partner, but I think that as time goes on, the pool will grow and this won’t be an issue anymore, especially since there’s practically no competition for those partners.

**What problems is CrossLetter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me grow my audience for free, which is quite hard in the newsletter space, where the primary growth channel has become paid acquisitions.

 ### 3. Vetted partners and sponsors, in one place, and for free

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Çağrı S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about CrossLetter?**

The best part is that one listing does double duty: we use it to line up cross-promotion swaps and surface sponsorship interest, instead of running two separate workflows on two different platforms. Manual vetting matters, too. Every newsletter on the platform has been reviewed before being listed, so the partner pool consists of real operators rather than the directory-spam crowd you end up filtering through with automated tools. And it's free, which is hard to overstate when you're still figuring out newsletter monetization.

**What do you dislike about CrossLetter?**

The discovery flow is still pretty manual. You browse the directory, message operators, then track conversations in your own inbox. That's fine when you're running a handful of partnerships, but once you're juggling more than a few active swaps and sponsorship threads, you start wishing for an in-platform pipeline view or some basic tracking on what's live, what's pending, and what's closed. Category coverage is also uneven; Marketing & Design has a deep partner pool, but if you're outside that vertical, the matches thin out faster than you'd hope. The site itself is also a bit slow at times, especially when loading the directory or paging through listings.

**What problems is CrossLetter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solves for us is partner and sponsor discovery in one place. Before CrossLetter, finding sponsors meant cold emailing brands or going through brokers who take a cut. Finding cross-promotion partners meant slogging through Twitter and LinkedIn DMs, with no easy way to verify that the other operator was real or that their audience overlapped with ours. CrossLetter brings both tasks together in one place: in-market sponsors and operators come to us through the listing, and when we go outbound, we work from a directory of pre-vetted newsletters rather than cold strangers. The net benefit is real time saved on the discovery layer, which is usually the most expensive part of running partnerships.

 ### 4. First Collaboration Offer Within Days of Signing Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about CrossLetter?**

My first collaboration offer arrived just a few days after I signed up. The platform is easy to navigate and already full of great newsletters.

**What do you dislike about CrossLetter?**

Sometimes the website loads a little slowly, which is probably just a teething issue.

**What problems is CrossLetter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding sponsors
