# What vendor security assessment tools have the most accurate AI responses to complex security questionnaires?

Complex questionnaires expose weak AI quickly, which makes accuracy an important factor when choosing vendor security and privacy assessment tools. The time savings disappear if security teams still have to rewrite vague responses, correct unsupported claims, or send most questions to subject-matter experts.

Among products in the G2 Vendor Security and Privacy Assessment Grid Report, Conveyor has the clearest accuracy signal in user reviews. Scrut Automation and Vanta also show useful evidence, while Secureframe’s feedback is more mixed.

Conveyor: Reviewers repeatedly describe its suggested answers as accurate, polished, and relevant to the question being asked. One said the answers added useful context instead of returning basic information, while another reported that its AI agent cut completion time by more than 90%. Users also like that corrections improve future suggestions and that the system can flag contradictory source documents.

Scrut Automation: Its AI pre-fills answers by referring to the organization’s approved policies, giving security teams a clear basis for reviewing accuracy. Users say this helps with complex questionnaires, keeps responses aligned with internal processes, and saves several hours.

Vanta: A CIO described its questionnaire AI as fast and reliable, reducing work that once took one to two weeks to a few hours. Another security operations reviewer found the automated questionnaire module useful for client risk assessments. The reviews provide less detail about how it handles ambiguous questions, so that’s worth testing during a pilot.

Secureframe: It can complete a useful portion of uploaded questionnaires using AI and past answers, but accuracy feedback is inconsistent. One reviewer said many questions remained incomplete and some suggestions were guesses, while an information security lead reported that uploaded content wasn’t always read accurately. It may accelerate the first pass, but human review still appears important.

How much of its AI output can you approve unchanged?

I’d want to measure accuracy by how much AI output survives review unchanged. Completion percentage alone could look impressive even if security teams rewrite half the answers. For Conveyor, Scrut Automation, Vanta, or Secureframe users, have you tracked the percentage of suggested responses that can actually be approved as-is, especially for ambiguous or company-specific SIG and CAIQ questions?
