It is really nice to use Creately. You can find so many already built-in templates for your flowcharts which are really handy and give you also a general idea of how you can also structure your flowcharts and diagrams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Personally, I would say sometimes it was a bit hard to select and navigate b/w the shapes you need. I would say it would be made better if this side bar for the shapes could be made a bit smaller so it will be easier to select all the items needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I start using Creately for simple diagrams, but it quickly becomes useful for a lot more than that: API flows, internal process maps, architecture diagrams, UML, technical customer journeys, and visual documentation to explain changes before we build them. I can start from a template, drag a few elements around, connect the different parts of the system, and have something clear enough to share with the team pretty quickly. The templates and smart shapes save me a lot of time because I do not have to start from a blank canvas or spend too much time making the diagram look clean. I would like to see more flexibility in the free version, especially for copying and using multiple images as it is limited right now. Increasing the import limit would make it easier for new users to choose and also create and test detailed wireframes before deciding to upgrade.
