I like Bolster for its speed and quick turnaround time when estimating. The templates save me from starting from scratch each time, which is a huge time saver. I appreciate the flexibility it offers, especially since I can work on estimates remotely. I think the customization features are really helpful for my work in residential construction, where every job is unique. It's great to be able to set up a template and modify it as needed. It has made our quoting process a lot faster - with use of templates. The team is very helpful when we need them, very responsive even on weekends. What do you dislike about Bolster? Quite hard to learn how to use initially without guidance from the team. We had log in issues but they all got sorted out within a couple of days. I use Bolster for my contracting business and find it to be an excellent tool for estimating and financial work. Bolster's interactive quotes save time and money, reducing my past frustrations. The product is designed with simplicity and looks really nice, showing that a lot of thought went into its development. I appreciate the way Bolster organizes my workflow, allowing me to keep track of lead flow and use automation tools effectively for client follow-ups. Bolster is the best tool I've found for contractors, period. The customer support team is incredible — patient, responsive, and they make a powerful, complex platform feel simple. The built-in client selection feature, which essentially lets homeowners make their own interior design choices, is a game-changer. I can't imagine running jobs without it. The estimate templates feel rigid — I'd like the ability to pick from different client-facing layouts when sending a proposal, and to tailor the messaging per client since that's such an important piece of the sales process. I use Bolster for construction estimation, and it saves me time and allows me to get more important things done. I like that the software makes quotes and estimates a breeze, and it's highly customizable. You can get prices by square foot or by quantities, which aligns well with my needs. I like how quick it is to bang out an estimate and send it off without second guessing numbers. AutoCost keeps prices up to date so I’m not losing money on material changes, and the proposals look clean so customers actually trust them. The takeoff tool saves me from messing with paper plans, and once the estimate’s done it already builds a schedule and budget.
