Regarding your note about the initial cost, in eGifting campaigns, the gift giver can choose whether to provide recipients with a range of gifts at different prices or gifts at the same price point. When a range is offered, the actual cost can vary depending on what each recipient selects. Since shipping destinations are also unknown at the time of sending the eGifts, it requires a deposit to cover those possible differences.
The good news is that getting a refund for any unused amount is super easy and can be done right from your dashboard.
