Contractor+ | How Contractor+ is helping our construction service business **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jon L. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2026 **What do you like best about Contractor+?** Contractor+ offers a wide variety of features, which is awesome for a service based business. I feel like some other software's "have" what I'm looking for but lacks in one key area. With Contractor+, I'm able to create Quotes, create Jobs if those quotes have been accepted, create invoices and accept payments right from Contractor+, keep my documentation in one place from pictures to contracts. There are so many other features that Contractor+ has to offer but haven't explored fully. **What do you dislike about Contractor+?** It may be a tough for beginners to learn the system and actually understand it. Again, Contractor+ has so many features to learn about that for beginners, it may be overwhelming. Personally, after a few nights of browsing through the system, creating test quotes, jobs, invoices, etc. I learned core features and understood the basics. So it does require a little learning curve at first. Another thing to point out, we really don't want to overwhelm the client if we give them access to their Client Portal. Currently, the client portal doesn't have the ability to hide what we don't want the client to see or just doesn't apply to them such as work orders, since we manly stick to job. **What problems is Contractor+ solving and how is that benefiting you?** I first discovered Contractor+ in mid summer of 2025, and we decided not to move forward due to some lacking features. However, they just announces their V2 of Contractor+ and I've got to say, it's a much smoother system now and so much more to offer. However, one specific feature that is yet to be released is the sub-contractor feature. This would allow you to create accounts similar to the client portal but for your sub-contractors. This was mainly one of the reasons why we didn't go ahead with Contractor+ back then. They did tell us that this feature was in the works, and should be released I believe by the time V2 was released, but has now been pushed to another date. But I love that Contractor+ listens to their customers and adds new features or updates them based on what we want. It didn't take long to figure out where everything was and how to access it. I also wish that the payment system for the invoicing was a lot easier to access as well.
