## About Contentstack
Contentstack is redefining how modern digital experiences are built and managed. As the pioneer of the Agentic Experience Platform (AXP), Contentstack brings together structured content and brand governance (Content Cloud), real-time customer data, omnichannel personalization (Data Cloud) and autonomous AI orchestration (Agent OS) into one unified system. While many organizations adopted headless CMS or standalone AI tools expecting transformation, they often found themselves managing disconnected systems and manual workflows. Contentstack helps enterprises move beyond that complexity by connecting content, data and AI in a way that makes digital experiences faster to launch, easier to manage and more adaptive in real time. Leading brands including Steve Madden, LG Electronics, Subaru of America, Dolce & Gabbana, 1-800-Flowers, Decathlon, and Caesars Entertainment rely on Contentstack to reduce operational friction and deliver personalized, scalable digital experiences with confidence. The company is known for its customer-first culture and commitment to the communities it serves through the Contentstack Cares program. Learn more at https://www.contentstack.com.

## Contentstack Reviews
 ### 1. Pretty useful tool for content management, despite some glitches

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I think it's a very intuitive tool, I've been able to use it for some months now and I never really looked into the tutorial. There's a wide arrange of features to implement different types of content on pages without the need to know HTML etc, but I also think it lacks some autonomy for the user in that department. For example, the "feature card" feature could have an option for choosing who to display text-picture: side by side or picture on the top and text below.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The redesign that rolled out this year increased the size of page elements in the editor and, consequently, they now occupy bigger chunks of screen, making it difficult to use Content Stack in PCs with smaller displays. I believe the previous layout was more effective in that sense. Plus, there's a pretty annoying bug when I try to expand the info uon some card when editing pages. I always need to press the down arrow twice in order to open the cards.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a pretty straightforward service so it helps to decrease the time spent on training new employees. In that term, it's great to impolement it in big teams because anybody can use it effortlessly, without the need to make long trainings.

**Official Response from Varia Makagonova:**

> Hi there! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about Contentstack, and we are so happy to hear that you find the platform intuitive and feature-rich.

We talked to our product team about the size of the page elements that you find less effective following the redesign. Interestingly enough, this change was made because many users told us in UX research that they felt they needed to zoom in in order to see everything!

We'd love to understand more about the "expanding elements" issue that you're reporting, as well as the feature cards feedback. Would you be willing to have a quick UX research session with us? Please reach out directly to your CSM, or hit the 'contact Contentstack' button above. We'd love to hear more and see if we can help!

 ### 2. If a Jr can use it, you too

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The interface is really good looking, it's easy to understand how to use it and the information given at the courses helps you to understand cleary what you should do. The information is well structured. The more you use contentstack you get to the use really easy, the language isn´t a problem and it really easy to implementate with other things that are useful for the project. I use Contentstack every day for uploading content and it´s really easy to do it.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The search is really complicated to understand at first, sometimes it allows you to look for some things that aren´t even part of the content model that you have. What I don´t also like is that to look for some info I need to use the expert search but it´s not that easy at first, so they should have a easier filter or search box.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The content interaction, the way you can structure data as you wish and the allowace to upload information and manage it also from code is really useful and handy.

 ### 3. Considerably satisfied, easy to use, similar to word press but better in most ways.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

It is intuitive, no unecessarily convaluted ways to do the most basic of things.

It works consistently well. rarely ever down, glitches or anything that causes issues

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

A small gripe, when an image has been uploaded and is in the copy, the image can not be switched out for another without having to write a knew caption.

I am signed out and then unable to save, without notice.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It works straight forward. No long unnecessary methods on how to solve issues.

I need things to work in a specific way and CMS does it.

 ### 4. User friendly for a newbie

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I am somewhat new to the world of contentstack and not someone who works in a traditional IT type role but I have found it to be mostly user friendly and intuitive enough to be able to navigate around and complete tasks with little trouble.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

For dislikes, I have found that the lag time in publishing content can vary and have run into a few bumps in the road with editing rich text.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack has helped me in my role specifically, to be able to easily and quickly update texts and images on our company website.

 ### 5. Very useful, but is lacking some components

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I like the fact that you can edit quite fast, and share between multiple different languages. It's very easy to implement small changes such as visuals, texts and components. I use it everday. It's also nice that whenever there is a mistake, you can see it directly on the preview website.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Self-import service is really awful, it always makes the website crash for us. The integration here could be improved massively. This is something we have flagged to the customer support.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me improve the overall consumer journey for our consumers, it's easy to implement. Components are very easy to copy due to the extension.

WHat would be nice is to also have the extensions for external websites, but not sure if this is legally allowed.

**Official Response from Varia Makagonova:**

> Hi there! Thank you so much for your review. We're thrilled to hear that Contentstack is helping you improve the consumer journey. I shared your experience with what you call the "self-import service" with our product team and they said that typically migrations are only one-time things and they're not sure why you site could be crashing every time it runs - it sounds like something custom your team may have written on your end that's not working correctly. We would love to help you figure it out, because it absolutely shouldn't be your experience! Though you mention you've flagged it to customer support, I would encourage you to get in touch with your Customer Success Manager as well. We're here to help! Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback!

 ### 6. Secure and scalable headless CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The Contentstack platform is ISO27001 certified and can provide SOC2 reports to customers. This was a requirement for our organisation to ensure we sufficiently secure sensitve and/or PII data.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The licensing model for content types can be restrictive if the content structure is not organised appropriately. This required some redevelopment of our content and ways of working.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Contentstack as a component in a business critical web application. We previously self-hosted an alternative headless CMS solution, but we encountered significant issues with the security posture of that software, and with the available enterprise support models. Adopting Contentstack allowed us to address all of these issues - the software has high standards of security certification and assurance, and the support and customer success teams provide both day-to-day technical expertise and partnership with our strategic planning.

 ### 7. Overall a solid tool with room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The UI is intuitive and is very easy to understand the work flow, this makes it extremely easy to create content efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

For the most difficult implementations, sometimes I feel like there's unnecessary complexity. For some components such as Restriction Rules for example, you should be able to just implement one restriction and have the rest adapting. Instead, you have to implement one restriction as well as the "opposite ones". It should also have features such as highlighting unfilled fields.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack helps me by simplifying all my content management tasks and allowing me to collaborate seamlessly with my team. THe interface is user-friendly and the tool is very powerful. Overall it enable me to efficiently create, manage, and publish content, saving me tons of time and effort.

 ### 8. Easy to understand

Contentstack’s headless architecture allows greater flexibility for decoupled front-end experiences.

 ### 9. Amazing platform for integrating all content into multiple platforms using APIs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ignacio B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The speed that ensures that we have multiple parallel API requests without any latency or delays in delivering the content when sending big campaigns through external platforms. The integration process is quite neat and easy if you have a tech team to support you.
Content teams have an easy way of usage in the platform being able to provide translations and copies fast and easy.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

It is a difficult UI for people that are not 100% tech savvy , but given the market CMS platforms, it is on the good side.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed in which we can GTM and give all the content / localisation teams fast tools to avoid manual work

 ### 10. It is very easy to use, but can be upgraded.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I like how it is laid out. The modules are laid out to be very easy to navigate the page.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

How long it takes to see your edits in real time. It takes almost 15 minutes to see if the edits you made will be good or not.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to build very unique and good-looking web pages for our main website.

 ### 11. Providing industry nextgen composable CMS solitions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinivasu L. | Senior Manager Ecommerce, Architecture, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Insight full information about platform, provide real-time integration usecases and connect with technology leaders

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

None

Everything looks good
Good planning

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content staging and schedule

 ### 12. Easy to use but limited customizability compared to other website building tools.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Easy to use, simplified, and few errors in uplaoding process.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Live preview, which we are told by ContentStack team is available and should be accessible so long as we ask our administrator, we did that and it has been with IT for months, it is not available or accessible to us although it is a released feature that should be accessible. Not bad platform, but seems limited compared to many other website build tools that are more modern and customizable. Such as limited on image sizing on webapge, and cant put a full length image but only place an image and text split.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps update pages, get content out in about 15 minute uploads.

 ### 13. I like using Contentstack!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I like being able to define the different content models and fill the entries.
The versioning feature also looks interesting to me. Supporting differnet locale out of the box helps us to support localization.
We are using the GraphQL endpoint and we love it. Integrating the endpoint was so easy.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

We are trying to use the Webhook feature but the documentation isn't that much rich. For example this doucment (https://www.contentstack.com/docs/developers/set-up-webhooks/webhook-events) doesn't really explains what is the body of events and what we should expect from each events. We have to test every event by ourselve and create a documentation on our own.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating content models and allowing different people to access them, fill them and also use them by the GraphQL endpoint.

**Official Response from Varia Makagonova:**

> Hi there! I'm so happy to hear you like using Contentstack. I passed on your feedback to our documentation team, and we have started working on improved Webhook documentation based on your guidance. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience!

 ### 14. Fantastic Customizable CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I love that Contentstack is a customizable platform backed by a team of knowledgeable engineers who can help you through any solutions you want.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

It's hard to see future architectural problems (API limitations, for example) when you first step into Contentstack. If you don't get the starting architecture right, it could spell scalability problems, so be sure to put a lot of thought into how you scale the platform and confirm that the action plan would work.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our CMS, Contentstack helps to serve data to our front end via REST or GraphQL calls. Such a flexible platform allows us to implement creative and unique programmatic solutions.

 ### 15. A real CMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

It's a headless CMS. Giving us the power to develop and structure as we see fit for our enterprise. It's simple to use with excellent documentation. Integration is no challenge.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Some of the UI could be improved. For example, the Entries would benefit from a hierarchy structure.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack relieves the need to develop and manage our own CMS. Reducing time spent administerings a system to hold our data

**Official Response from Varia Makagonova:**

> Hi there, thank you so much for your review - I'm so happy to hear you've found our CMS powerful and easy to use. I wanted to let you know that we've recently released Taxonomy, a feature that allows you to add a hierarchy structure to your content. I'm including the URL to a blog post about Taxonomy. I really hope this is helpful - your CSM can help you if you'd like to discuss more about how Taxonomy can help your teams organize your entries. Thank you again for your valuable feedback!!

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Not sure I have dislikes, possibly the seperaton of modules and having to need to publish the page vs individual components.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sinergizxing all our systems. The headless aspect allow us to be nimble and innovate for our clients.

 ### 17. Review use contentstack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chloe b. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

It is user-friendly, the order in which you work is logical and simple. uploading images is easy, and even takes care of inclusivity, with giving images a correct title for screenreader users.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

it creates big white spaces between the different features are not very esthetically pleasing.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous program was always very slow, so contentstack is saving me a lot of time! Also, the modern products that are made with contentstack are pleasing my suppliers and brands, which evolves into an even better business relation.

 ### 18. Super helpful support while learning the platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I love how easy it has been compared to the CSM my company has used in the past and I absolutely love the support staff and how helpful they have been getting us started.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I'd appreciate better documentation and help videos, but again the suppport staff has sort of filled in that gap.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack will replace the current CMS used by my team and is elimanting a lot of work for developers that others can do.

**Official Response from Bianca Anderson:**

> Thank you so much for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you find Contentstack easy to use and our staff supportive. For additional help videos and learning content, you might find our Academy particularly helpful (https://www.contentstack.com/academy). Your feedback is invaluable in our continuous efforts to improve. Thank you for being a valued customer!

 ### 19. Decent CMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

- It's flexible and does most of what we need it to do

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

- It's not necessarily a dislike but if you're coming from a 'page based' CMS like Wordpress the way you build pages might take a while to understand
- There's no page tree/foldering system so it's hard to understand site architechture, although this seems to be a limitation of all headless systems
- Customer support is ok, but not amazing

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- It's a CMS, so it allows us to publish content on our site/app etc without going through developers

**Official Response from Varia Makagonova:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for your review! We're thrilled to hear you find Contentstack flexible and that it empowers you to publish content without relying on developer resources. We understand that transitioning from a page-based CMS to a headless system can take some time to adjust to. However, we do have a feature that allows you to structure your web properties in a hierarchical order. It's called Taxonomy. Have you explored this feature? We'd love to know if it meets your needs in terms of page tree/foldering structure:https://www.contentstack.com/docs/developers/taxonomy/about-taxonomy

 ### 20. The Best Decision

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilyn W. | Content Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack's CMS has given us the flexibility to revolutionize our digital approach with speed and agility. From UX to Go-Live we move fast and pivot quickly. The "blank slate" approach sllows us to fully customize our CMS, and the ability to reference components from one stack to another eliminates duplicate content. The Customer Support and Technical Support is fast to respond and genuinely care for your work and success.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I would like to see more video tutorials and education.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Give it a try. Test drive and compare. You will find it to be user-friendly, flexible, and most likely just what you needed.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team was previously using a monolithic CMS that had little customization and opposed a fast-to-production approach. The results once we shifted to Contentstack were immediate and dramatic. Our team can partner Contentstack with APIs in a way that the customer does not know which came from where. The team can make changes quickly and, as we learn and expand our needs, we can continuously update and upgrade without any downtime.

 ### 21. Sr Manager, Tech Partnerships

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnny B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Ease of use, product funcitionality and enterprise readiness

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Nothing comes top of mind, they are great all around

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps our customers and prospects realize the true value of a composable architecture and modernize thier web applications

 ### 22. Efficient and Easy CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack has made my merchandising job so much easier and efficient! The asset management and organization in itself is easy to manage and time-saving. It's easy to work with our developers to create entries that can be easily duplicated. I also love having the drag and drop feature to move around blocks and other content. So easy compared to our old, clunky tool!

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Versioning can be hard and confusing when multiple people are working in the tool as well as when we are creating versions for multiple projects. There has been times where we've pushed through pages that are meant to be for a future project by accident but it is easy to go back and quickly push through the correct version.

Contentstack is great for controlling what aspects of the site can be updated because most of the things are controlled from what developers allow us to update as merchandisers. I would love to have a bit more control as a merchandiser for some one-off updates. A lot of changes we want have to go through the development process which makes the process longer.

Also, I wish there was a better way to organize entries instead of having to search based on tags.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack allows us to have our site assets and entries all in one place which was exactly what we were looking for! It's easy to create releases for all of our larger holidays and projects.

**Official Response from Nicole Quick:**

> Hi Alexis, thank you for your review! I wanted to reach out and give you some updates that might help.

For versioning, we are revisiting how we think of versions when we implement new features. The goal is to simplify how we create versions and making it easier to manage. Secondly we are looking at updates to our Releases feature that helps to make sure you're publishing the right version of content.

The controlling more aspects of the site will be solved as we evolve our Live Preview to a Visual CMS/Live Editor. Our goal here is to help developers continue to provide the guidelines around content structure but give more autonomy to the editor, where they can build more things on their own.

For your organizing entries piece we have our Taxonomy feature that will be released later this year which will help you organize and navigate through content and search updates allowing editors to save and navigate to a set of criteria they commonly search through.

Hopefully these will help you in the future and to stay up to date with what is being released check out: https://www.contentstack.com/platform-updates

The version control in multiple environments might be a little bit difficult to understand and to keep track of.

 ### 29. Easy and tidy program to use once you get the hang of it!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alli O. | Digital Marketing Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Once you get the hang of it, it's a super intuitive and easy platform to use. There is also a wide range of support and training available to continue growing your capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Not as straight forward as some of the other CMS software I have used previously. I also often get the different content types you can use within stacks confused so still plenty to learn here.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User friendly software that is used across our various different business units means that this platform is fit for purpose by everyone at Trade Me that uses it. I love that fact that anyone anywhere can be in the software at the same time as you and it doesn't effect what you are doing. Additionally, the ability to schedule pages to be published is a game changing feature so many CMS platforms still don't offer.

 ### 30. Takes some work to get started but easy to use once it's set up.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khang P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

User friendly. Simply select the content model you want and where you want it then fill in the content. Then after you have put all the content models together, you can publish to a sandbox and see how they all look before going live.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

It takes technical know-how to implement and build the different content models. And if there was an error made at the building stage, it will refelect in all subsequent use of that content model. And instead of being able to fix it, you may just have to build a new one from scratch.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing anyone on the team to create a webpage and update it later on. There is no need to put in a ticket and wait to update an existing page since it can be done on the fly.

The team at Contentstack has your back. They'll work with you to address challenges, offer solutions and tweak their roadmap if possible to make their customers happy.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

While highly rated the platform is still somewhat early in it's lifecycle, so if you're a large enterprise it's still building out features you might expect. However, their composable headless framework mitigates some of that concern and differientates them against their traditional CMS competitors.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack is helping us move from a homegrown headless CMS to an enterprise level platform. They are helping us go beyond building a web site to creating a modern digital platform that will allow our team to address both business and customer requirements.

 ### 45. A very solid option for a headless CMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The user interface is very easy to use which makes the flow of creating content-types/pages really simple. Along with the UI being easy, the API's are also easy to use to fetch/manage content and the documentation to support it is very well written. They do a great job of listening to feedback and they continue to keep building out great products to support your projects. The support is very responsive and has been super helpful along the way.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

While some of the UI is simple to use, I think their could be some improvements on the usability side when working in a content-type. Tap/drag targets are somewhat limited. I also wish their were a few more variations of walkthroughs for product integrations that come from the Marketplace or from custom integrations.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack replaced our old CMS which was very much a 1-to-1 option so building templates was very strict. With Contentstack we're able to build a website the way we want and use the same content-type/modeling for various templates/pages because the headless approach is much more flexible with the front-end development.

 ### 46. Contentstack allows us to manage multiple versions of content easily.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

We were looking at a headless CMS that we would be able to integrate with our own internal system. Previously content had been managed within this internal system, but as we were expanding into other countries, we needed something more sophisticated that would be able to manage multiple versions of the same piece of content. We chose Contentstack, and are very happy with how it's performing. We use WeLocalize for translation services, allowing multiple teams (design, content and campaign managers) to use the system, and it's extremely helpful for making sure the correct version of the content is being used.

Their account management is great as well, very responsive and keeping us informed of any changes in the system.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

While the integration was a bit time consuming to complete, this was mostly due to the complexities of our own legacy platform.
We have had some feature requests put through that have taken some time to be actioned.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a system that is able to be used by multiple teams simultaneously allows us to ensure content is created and used in a timely manner. It also allows us to seamlessly use translated content. Even for content that is all in English, this allows us to customise it for each English speaking region (UK, US, Canada, Australia, NZ) so it's the best fit for our customers.

 ### 47. One CMS - many opportunities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

- Extremely usefull api
- UI extensions with widgets maden easy and super powerful
- Webhooks are enabling huge variety of integration scenarios out of the box
- Permission concept allows very flexible and granulas access handling
- Additional toolkit for JAM stack and content handling

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

- Few capability for assets image maintanance: no cropping, etc.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contantstack is providing us an opportunity to create structured representation of our web properties data and orcestrate it.
It took over an overhead of taking care about technical solution for data storage and freed our capacity for the improvement on the delivering of this content to end user.
Content Editors have full power and focus over their tasks without being disturbed for CMS specific tasks.

 ### 48. Simple and clean content management system.

It is easy to figure things out. The interface is good, and I have not experienced any loading issues.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I can not think of anything specific that I had an issue with

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webpage / product collection setup and ranking

 ### 49. Quick and easy to learn! Quick and easy to use!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Torey A. | Site Merchandising Manager - eCommerce, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

For us, Contentstack has changed how quickly we can execute our workload. It takes half the time it used to and we can push our changes and see them right away. We love the versioning and being able to go back and compare changes or see what was on the page a year ago. We love how they continuely update the tool and come out with new advancements.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

So far for us the only dislike would be previewing changes for a certain date. We have found workarounds for that but it isn't as simple as all the other features.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly updating our site pages and merchandising.

 ### 50. Worked with CS on a project at work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Everything related to Content Stack is good, and simple to make and organize. Also found a bug withing a plugin we needed on Content Stack and the ticketing system and live chat is perfect 10/10 if you ask me for the Customer Support.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Only thing I kinda disliked are the crazy types that come with GraphQL/Typescript usage on a project.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content manement of components withing a project. Easy to use for Content Managers
