**What do you like best about Cogent Communications?**

The price for data center connectivity is very competitive. The ticketing system is proactive and engineers have been easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Cogent Communications?**

The provisioning teams appear completely disconnected from the sales team. I have worked with other telecom companies and Cogent cannot seem to understand the process - even in data centers where they already have a significant presence.  It has taken multiple emails for me to explain to our provisioning project manager what he should already know - this is standard, repeatable stuff.

**Recommendations to others considering Cogent Communications:**

Be prepared to guide the sales and provisioning teams through the process. Performance and service have been great once we got past the initial pain points

**What problems is Cogent Communications solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize them for direct internet access (DIA) in two Equinix co-lo data centers.
