What do you dislike about Xfinity?
The service is horrible. The cable tv switches to a screensaver while we're watching tv or movies, and to get it to work again, we have to pick up the remote and shake it. Every day we get a message that says we need to do an update, and the tv stops working for a few minutes. The internet is slow and goes out every day, and to get it to work again, I have to unplug it and plug it in again. If I need to talk to the support department, they have outsourced to India, and talking to those people is ridiculous. They think they understand and speak English, but they don't. They advertise great prices, and yet my 71-year-old monther who is on Social Security and is barely making it month to month is paying $180+ a month for cable with no movie channels and internet that is unreliable. If you have other choices in your area, which my mother doesn't have, then you should go with them. Xfinity is absolute garbage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Xfinity solving and how is that benefiting you?
They let us pay the monthly bill using the tv and remote, which is very nice, but they are a basic service that provides a bare minimum of options. The best thing that they offer, in my opinion, is the voice remote and that may be available with other services, I don't know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
