Fast, 24 hour ability to reach technical support by phone and no problems sending a free technician out if necessary.

To many phones difficulties trying to reach an agent and to long of a hold to NOT get it.

Fast Internet that keeps all of my office electronics and smart devices working well together making work remotely that much more pleasant.

They do provide fast wifi. I was able to move over ownership of the wifi without having a huge amount of dificulties when I needed to move.

Spectrum is easy to use, and there is a low learning curve on the products which integrate seamlessly into the other applications i use.

It's a bit challenging to directly contact costumer service and a slower response time.

We previously had a lot of large network problems and Spectrum has helped us consolidate and solve those issues in a timely efficient manner.

There's not one piece of this internet service thats useful. The fact that it is 2022 and we're still capped at crap upload speeds tells you everything you need to know. If there was any other provider in the area I would of switched on day 1.

Dislike the pricing for 250/10 at $74.99, verizon offers 940/940 at $40 a month. No contract. Stop bribing politicians to have a monopoly on the towns so we can have options.

Yea again, nothing really. The modem is crap 2.0 system, but they dont really need to offer anything better as its capped with their speed there anyway. "#1 country in the world" that cant even offer top 20 internet speeds in the world.

Since I've moved into my first home back in 2021, I've used Spectrum internet. It is fast and efficient, and hardly produces any lag or buffering. Plus, it is trustworthy even in the harshest of weather!

**What do you dislike about Charter Spectrum?**

There have been times when working from home, which is something I do not do often. My internet has gone down, and it is quite difficult to get in touch with anyone in customer support to get an eta or an idea as to what the issue can be. This has happened one time and it was during a crucial overnight shift

**What problems is Charter Spectrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have been better about updating me via text when internet or connection slows down, and an ETA as to when it'll be up and running again. 99% its a quick fix!

Not in Canada only in the united states of America.
Default gear isn't responsive will need to use 3rd party equipment.

**Describe the project or task Charter Spectrum helped with:**

Our internet from CenturyLink provided prolonged internet, so we decided to get Spectrum. Initially, the internet was very sluggish, with the router having to be replaced with a Netgear router and modem. The internet was more stable, albeit the modem had to be replaced twice! We also subscribe to Spectrum TV Choice, with ten channels of our own. Nevertheless, the internet is now more stable.

**What do you like best about Charter Spectrum?**

The fast speeds in our area helped with the connectivity of devices. My work was accomplished faster than CenturyLink, which was very slow and unresponsive. The TV Choice subscription provides a choice of ten channels. Spectrum is also cheaper than CenturyLink.

**What do you dislike about Charter Spectrum?**

I did not like that we had to replace the modem and router every two months! We had to call a technician to our house and diagnose the problem with the unstable internet. They said we had a 1994 cable connector that needed to be fixed, so they replaced it. We still had issues, eventually acquiring a new router and modem. The Cable Modem conked out after two months, so we replaced the modem with an Arris Surfboard SB8200 and the router with a Netgear NightHawk.

Don't use their router and modem, as it causes problems and is very sluggish.

We are trying to solve the problem with having reliable internet. We tried Time Warner Cable, and the speeds were atrocious! After getting CenturyLink for TV, Phone, and Internet for $118, this eventually had repercussions and left a bad taste in our mouths. Moreover, the internet was prolonged.

Network Topology infrastructure، Which can serve many devices without a decrease in internet speed from other devices, as if I had an Internet channel for myself without sharing it with anyone.

The first disadvantage is that it is only in America, and no one outside America can use it.
 2nd There are some rural areas in the state outside its coverage.

They provide our internet and cable experiences. The internet is needed for my work, which I do mainly at home.

**What do you like best about Charter Spectrum?**

I like the ability to use TV and networking apps when I want it.

**What do you dislike about Charter Spectrum?**

Too much buffering when the weather is bad and they tend to jack the price up without letting us know. Then I have to call them and negotiate a better price.

Ease of use, ability to use my Roku to view other apps and not having to get an expensive cable package.

Instead of spending quality family time, I wasted over an hour with four idiots, worthless phone representatives, each contradicting themselves, fabricating claims, incompetently saying they are unable to make the changes to my cable service. The first representative stated that their packages have changed and that promotions are for new customers only. Great, so existing customers don't get notified of changes and are not extended the same promotions as new clients. Doesn't good business sense dictate caring for existing customers instead of frustrating and pushing the anger buttons? Spectrum has a "retention" department. Do they admit their business relations are so horrible that after demoralizing a current customer to the point of getting them to the verge of canceling everything to flee to a competitor, Spectrum as last resort, defers to the "retention" staff?
I spend over 58 minutes to get lied to. I was told I don't need cable boxes anymore. The Spectrum app on any smart TV can provide all the channels I want. WRONG!!!
I cut the call with a vengeance only to call again after breathing deeply for about ten minutes. On the second attempt, I spoke to only one representative - Greg - who resolved my issue in 13 minutes.
Now wouldn't it be better for business to have done this on the first call? It would have prevented this deplorable review.

N/A - Nonthing at this time. The opportunity to make a good impression was long gone.

Every one of the four useless customer service representatives encountered today.

No benefit was realized until Greg completed in 13 minutes what four other CS reps could not do in over 58 minutes.

I hired Spectrum for their internet service and TV service.

**What do you like best about Charter Spectrum?**

Spectrum has an excellent TV service with both On-demand and Live TV inliucded. Most of the channels streames on their live TV. Charter spectrum has a solid on-demand inventory as welll.

**What do you dislike about Charter Spectrum?**

Charter Spectrum doesn't have a footprint in many states where Comcast is prevalent.

**Recommendations to others considering Charter Spectrum:**

I would recommend using their Internet service, which is fast and reliable. Also, their TV service is pretty good. I would advise taking the bundle is taken with internet and TV, it is pretty cheap.

Charter Spectrum solved my internet connection issues in Texas, where it had a fast, reliable internet connection. It helped me a lot in getting over my school.

Our service gets interrupted sometimes, but they are always on top of getting it back up and running!

The lack of customer service and ethics. The abundance of spit in my yard.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone based on a health perspective.

On Friday, May 15th 2020, I was in my home minding my own business when I heard the doorbell. I went to the door, and saw a charter spectrum agent named Eric Proladocfer standing at the door. I answered the door to ask what he needed. He started to try to sell his products to me. In the middle of his spiel, he spat in the middle of my yard……that’s right….he spat in the middle of my yard while a pandemic is running wild through the country. I got his information, and contacted the charter spectrum location on 5543 Grove Blvd, Hoover, AL 35226. 

At this time, I spoke to who was supposed to be Eric’s manager, Chris Davis. I told Chris about what happened, and he said that he would talk to his manager about the incident (I thought he was the manager?) and get back to me no later than Monday (05/18/2020) afternoon. I never received a call from anyone. Now, I’m leaving this review. I guess this company doesn’t care about their employees spitting on people’s property…..even during a pandemic. Hopefully the kids in the neighborhood that play in my yard sometimes didn’t step in it.

They came over to add another box to our already set of 4 for each tv in the house.  The guy was not talkative and just worked and finished in a timely fashion.  I have had some trouble with the tv cuttive off and going to no screen but I usually fix it myself or if will fix if I cut off the tv.

I like that I do not have to call charter/spectrum every time there is a problem.

**What do you dislike about Charter Spectrum?**

I do not like that at random the tv cuts off a show that I am watching.

Like brick and mortar businesses, home-based businesses need reliable and secure internet access. At first, things seemed like a major improvement over my previous provider. However, the service began to switch on and off, causing my Alexa devices and web browsers to lose connection. I was having to unplug devices and plug them back in. It took many visits for Charter to solve the problem. At first, they said that the modem was defective. The next time, they claimed that the modem wasn't far enough away from the cable box. Then, they told me it was my house wiring (the house is brand new) and suggested that I call the wiring installer. I called the Alarm installer who did the wiring and they said that Charter was mistaken. So, I called Charter back and they suggested that I pay to run a new cable through the house (for a fee). I hesitantly agreed. When the technician arrived, he gave me the choice of having a wire running up the outside of my new home OR drilling doing what's called a "wall fish". I often for the latter and asked if he could drop it into my office on the second floor instead of downstairs. He agreed and pointed out that there was no outlet in the office. He happily offered to install a wall-plate. Lucky for us, when he entered the attic, he discovered a cable hanging in the wall ready to be connected. Apparently, the builder forgot to connect it). Long story short, after several more visits, they switched out my modem/router combo for separate units. My service has been working great, ever since!

**What do you like best about Charter Spectrum?**

I like the fact that there is no contract. With my previous provider, we had continuous problems with our Gigabit service (which ran on its own wiring, so it was completely unrelated to the existing cable in my home). For such an expensive service, I expected it to work as described. But, it never came close to providing the promised speed. Charter, on the other hand, exceeded the speed that was purchased. Instead of 200mbps, I was getting 236mbps. I have since doubled my speed option, to accommodate for my new Fire Sticks.

**What do you dislike about Charter Spectrum?**

After I purchased my Fire Sticks, I decided to "cut the cord" and drop my cable tv service. As a result, Charter increased my internet bill by $5. No biggie. A week later, I received a phone call from Charter regarding their new streaming service. I had since gone with a line TV streaming service for $16 per month. I doubted that Charter could beat that price, but I was willing to hear about the details. They refused to discuss it on the phone and insisted on emailing it to me. I agreed, but didn't have time to confirm my email address, etc. The representative said that I would need to speak to her supervisor before they could email me, so I asked her to call back later. Another week passed and I received a second call. This time, I allowed the supervisor to speak with me and agreed to let them send the information to the email address they had on file. After the call ended, I received an email confirming my new subscription. What?! I didn't order anything! When I called Charter, the rep said that they had been receiving tons of calls about this being done to customers and he quickly removed the service. He then forwarded me to another department so they could remove the charges. The next rep claimed that he hadn't heard of the issue and when I asked for some form of compensation for them adding something to my bill that didn't order, he said that he couldn't do that. I asked for his supervisor, but he said that they wouldn't be able to do anything either. I insisted, so he placed me on hold for nearly twenty minutes. The supervisor confirmed that he could not compensate, so I asked if he could either reduce my monthly bill or increase my speed. He said he would decrease my bill by $10 and he would double my speed. Thus, my rating of 10 out of ten. Charter doesn't always do things right but sooner or later, they make good on things. I'm loving my 400mbps speed, by the way!

**Recommendations to others considering Charter Spectrum:**

If you are considering using another provider, check out online reviews first. Real-life experiences are invaluable. In my case, I had been through three other providers and a ton of hassle before I switched to Charter. I just wish I had done it sooner.
