I don't think there's much to like about Codero at all. They offer a very commoditized service–web hosting–and the only thing that stands out is what they do wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Codero offers a highly commoditized service–web hosting. All they need to do is keep the lights on for their customers and maintain a low profile. Instead, they have frequent, extended outages for which they offer no explanation and cannot be reached when something goes wrong while internally scrambling to recover. Worse, our dedicated account reps are difficult to reach and never have answers when we finally make contact.
I have used Codero and its predecessor for about 20 years. Over the years, as Codero's product became more commoditized and challenged by competitors, it appears a brain drain occurred in Codero's workforce. Years ago, we could get a hold of technically competent professionals who could address our problems. Now, Codero seems staffed by the equivalent of reactionary mechanics: low-skilled technicians who are trying to keep a sinking ship afloat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
