## About CloudFilter
CloudFilter is Mailprotector's secure email gateway for MSPs managing Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, on-premises servers, hosted environments, or a mix. It delivers inbound and outbound protection anywhere the MSP controls the MX record, giving technicians one system for a varied client base. CloudFilter puts powerful gateway controls into a mobile-first console built for how MSPs actually manage clients. Policies can be set across the entire base or narrowed to an account, domain, group, or individual user. Changes cascade downward, so technicians can establish a common baseline and make exceptions wherever a client needs something different. Filtering scores and thresholds are also tunable, letting each client draw its own line between what gets delivered, held, or stopped. Key capabilities include: Pre-delivery threat detection that combines machine learning, heuristics, reputation checks, and multiple malware engines into a composite risk score for each message. Quarantined messages stay outside the mailbox rather than inside a Junk or Spam folder. Users get a risk-flagged preview and one-click release or block options inside boundaries set by the MSP. Automated impersonation detection covers attacks such as executive fraud and lookalike senders. User Sync draws on Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or LDAP directory data to keep the organizational context behind that detection current. Complete DMARC enforcement helps prevent phishing and spoofing attempts with customizable result types to match policy requirements. A full audit trail records administrative changes, while a message delivery timeline helps technicians trace where mail was delayed or interrupted. Includes core outbound filtering and advanced data protection controls. CloudFilter gives MSPs one gateway for every environment, a common baseline across clients, and precise control wherever a client needs something different.
