It delivers inbound and outbound protection anywhere the MSP controls the MX record, giving technicians one system for a varied client base. CloudFilter puts powerful gateway controls into a mobile-first console built for how MSPs actually manage clients. Policies can be set across the entire base or narrowed to an account, domain, group, or individual user. Changes cascade downward, so technicians can establish a common baseline and make exceptions wherever a client needs something different. Filtering scores and thresholds are also tunable, letting each client draw its own line between what gets delivered, held, or stopped. Key capabilities include: Pre-delivery threat detection that combines machine learning, heuristics, reputation checks, and multiple malware engines into a composite risk score for each message. Quarantined messages stay outside the mailbox rather than inside a Junk or Spam folder. Users get a risk-flagged preview and one-click release or block options inside boundaries set by the MSP. I appreciate that it's easy to use and very reliable. I never have to worry about emails getting lost, and it provides a configurable outline for users about quarantined emails, which they understand easily. The administrative interface is straightforward, and it syncs well with Active Directory. Setting it up is simple, just a change in the MX record in DNS, and I'm protected. It's been through tough conditions like hurricanes and ice storms without any downtime. The quarantine email feature is especially user-friendly, and I love how once it's set up, I don't need to think about it much. That's what's most important to me. **What do you dislike about CloudFilter?** Sometimes it's a little confusing how to set up the journaling for keeping a copy of all emails for regulatory purposes. While I got it working, it wasn't as intuitive as the rest of the product and felt kind of bolted on. It would also be nice if the Active Directory sync were a bit more aware so I wouldn't have to filter out service mailboxes and other things using regular expressions. But all in all, these are minor complaints. **What problems is CloudFilter solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find CloudFilter protects against spam and viruses, is easy to use, reliable during outages, syncs with Active Directory, and has customizable quarantine notifications. It handles email security and disaster recovery, easing my worries about deliverability. ### 2. Performance is consistently smooth and fast, and it’s priced really well. **What do you dislike about CloudFilter?** There isn't much to dislike about CloudFilter, possible the never ending evolution of spam emails. But that can't be helped except with CloudFilter. **What problems is CloudFilter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spam filters are solved, and the email filtering works well. The logs are also beneficial and helpful for tracking what’s happening. ### 3. It also does a great job of blocking fake calendar invites and spoofed/phishing emails, which has been a huge help for us. We have integrated it with Bracket; their Secure Email System is built into it as well. The initial setup was very easy; we synchronized with Office 365 and changed the MX record. CloudFilter automatically sends welcome messages, and we can send directions with a single click. These features make secure emails very easy and efficient. **What do you dislike about CloudFilter?** In the User portal, you're not able to see every single email that has come in. You're only able to see what has been caught. A request for sure we're able to block messages from there. Right now, we don't have the ability to just push a button to block an address. We have to go in and copy the address and then add it to the block filter. So an easier way to block messages that have come into the mailbox would be appreciated. **What problems is CloudFilter solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use CloudFilter to block internal spoofing emails, fake calendar entries, and unwanted email clutter, ensuring our inboxes stay safe.
