It doesn't matter how many connections you add if your account gets banned after all. Slow and steady is better than being able to go past LinkedIn's limits and getting banned. Inbox (Lightweight CRM) This is not real-time but you can use it to message people to get that one-on-one feeling or to go into more personalized conversations with your campaign connections. You can add tags and notes, and it shows which campaign they were from in the Inbox section—really helpful. Campaign from Group URL, CSV, or Event URL You can create a list of people to send requests to just by adding a simple URL or even uploading a CSV of emails. I added a group that was active and had a list of 450 people ready to go. Explorer/Closely Surfer Chrome Extension You can find prospects and their contact information by company, title, location, and industry—chrome extension shows their contact info when you're on their profile. Warm-Up Mode and Working Hours This is meant to warm up your account to send requests—don't use LinkedIn while campaigns are running and don't try to send 20 requests at once. Stick to Warm-Up Mode and set your working hours. Multiple Campaigns & Variables You can run multiple types of campaigns—just make sure not to target the same person in multiple campaigns. There's a feature to see if someone was part of another campaign and you can exclude them if you don't want to target them. You can also set up variables like {first_name} to create templated messages. **What do you dislike about Closely?** Compared to other solutions, they may be a little newer and limited in features but they've been really responsive to issues and feedback. They're also developing and adding campaigns to send to your current network, which is going to be amazing. **Recommendations to others considering Closely:** So here's what I did on Closely. I'm part of a group of active professionals. 1. So here's what I did on Closely. I'm part of a group of active professionals. 1. In the past 2 weeks, I've grown my network by 47 connections. It has sent out 84 connection requests with 47 people accepting my connection. That's a 56% success rate. Your results will vary as well. That's not even mentioning that the group is around 400 people. If it continues at this rate, I'll have around 200 connections in a month of use. That's amazing. ### 5. Think of the most sophisticated email outreach tool, closely is that for LinkedIn, the variables and templates give you the ability to personalise the connection message at scale and automate the first message after the connection is accepted. If you combine it with writecream ai writing tool the efficiency you can achieve is unmatched. **What do you dislike about Closely?** Their scraping tool is good for beginners but not that sophisticated, it doesn't allow you to choose the job title or industry of the people before you scrape from posts, events and groups but it is relatively new so I'm sure that will come with time. another thing which is quite valuable is the ability to view and edit the final messages as the last check to make sure the variables have inserted themselves into the template in a way that feels authentic, I would really like that to be implemented. **What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you?** reaching out to industry members at scale in a way that's similar to an email outreach campaign but LinkedIn is more effective as finding emails can be hit an miss and if the company emails server is catch-all you risk having your domain being blacklisted as spam. closely eliminates this problem by contacting people straight on linked in ### 7. I receive solid responses typically within an hour (sometimes minutes). - They're releasing lots of features. It's new so it doesn't have everything (yet), but they clearly listen to what is requested and implement. - INBOX! I can see all accounts / and reply for all accounts in a single screen. Game-changer! - Cloud-based / proxies. I don't get the full tech details, but it's safe and hassle-free for me. **What do you dislike about Closely?** Cons: - The only possible thing I can say at this stage really is that it doesn't have some features I'd like...but that's OK for now given it's new and given they seem to keep releasing according to demand. I LOVE the team-Alex and Maria are fantastic-and I really appreciate all of the LinkedIn content on their blog and their Youtube channel. I have learned a lot of what you can and can't do on LinkedIn from them. **What do you dislike about Closely?** I don't really have much in the way of dislikes. I signed up knowing it was a good product with a great team. And since I had already chatted with the team I knew the roadmap and their plans for it. I bought into a great product and it is only getting better. **What problems is Closely solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using Closely to safely grow my LinkedIn without spending 3 hours a day in it. I set up some searches and campaigns and it automatically goes out to them and sends my first message. If they respond I then take over to actually chat with them. Some people are anti-automation but then they go and have their secretary or VA do all their LinkedIn. Doesn't make much sense right?
