One thing I genuinely like is how natural communication feels on the platform. For instance, rather than scheduling yet another meeting just to explain a policy change, I can record a five-minute walkthrough and share it with everyone. Employees can watch it whenever they have time, and if someone joins later, they still have access to the exact same information. That’s helped cut down on repeated conversations and made onboarding much more consistent. The search feature is also useful when I need to revisit an earlier discussion. Overall, we use Claap for employee onboarding, HR policy updates, training sessions, recruitment discussions, interview feedback, internal announcements, manager briefings, knowledge sharing, process documentation, and cross-functional communication with department heads. My only suggestion is to add a few more options for organizing recordings by HR topics or training categories, especially as the content library grows and it becomes harder to find what you need. Before, we spent a lot of time running the same onboarding sessions over and over, answering identical questions, and digging through emails to track down past discussions. Claap has helped us create a centralized library for training videos, meeting recordings, and HR updates. Now new employees can learn at their own pace, managers can stay in the loop, and the HR team spends far less time repeating the same information. The first problem with Claap is that the app will become ineffective if the team uses it to conduct conversations asynchronously instead of conducting real-time conversations in order to resolve issues much quicker than using asynchronous ones. Furthermore, one might think that video management needs to be done more accurately; thus, with an increasing number of videos being stored in the database of Claap, users may find difficulties while navigating through this content. Finally, even though it is very convenient to read the AI-generated summary or transcript, they are often not fully correct and have to be verified manually by a user. As a strategic IT manager, I found Claap especially valuable for bridging the gap between strategy and execution. Communicating product requirements clearly across different teams can be challenging, since each stakeholder needs a different level of detail. With Claap, I was able to record feature overviews, explain business requirements, and walk through prototypes in a way that felt much more effective than relying on lengthy documents. Team members could watch the recordings when it suited them, which reduced delays and helped everyone stay aligned around the same objectives. I also appreciated how much easier it made gathering and sharing feedback. During feature reviews and release planning, instead of organizing multiple meetings, I could share a recording and collect comments directly from stakeholders. What do you dislike about Claap? Overall, my experience with Claap has been positive. If I had to point to one area that could be improved, it would be the way larger content libraries are managed. As recordings build up over time across multiple projects and teams, stronger organization tools and more robust filtering would make it easier to find specific discussions or decisions from past product cycles. What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you? One challenge we consistently faced as a product team was making sure information was communicated accurately and consistently across departments. Important product decisions were often discussed in meetings, and key details could be missed by team members who weren’t able to attend. Written documentation helped, but it didn’t always capture the context behind decisions or provide enough clarity for complex features. Claap helped address this by offering a more effective way to share product knowledge and communicate decisions. Feature requirements, roadmap updates, customer feedback summaries, and product demonstrations could be recorded once and then shared with everyone involved. This reduced our reliance on live meetings, improved transparency, and ensured teams could revisit important information whenever needed. As a result, alignment across product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders improved significantly, helping us move projects forward more efficiently while maintaining a shared understanding of priorities and goals. As a Marketing Manager, I really appreciate how Claap streamlines communication without depending on constant meetings. Our team uses it to share campaign updates, creative feedback, product launch plans, and content reviews through short video recordings. It’s simply easier to explain ideas visually than to rely on long email threads or back and forth chat messages. The timestamped comments are especially helpful because the feedback stays tied to the exact moment in the video, which keeps revisions clearer and much more organized. We also use Claap to onboard new team members and to document marketing processes, and that has helped us build a dependable knowledge base.
