The screen recording feature is very smooth, but the best part is the ability to leave comments and annotations at specific timestamps in the video. It makes giving feedback on projects incredibly easy. The interface is clean, and the AI summaries of the recordings save a lot of time for people who just want the main points. There isn't much to complain about, but sometimes the video processing takes a minute or two longer than expected if the recording file is very large. We were scheduling 30-minute Zoom calls just to give simple project updates or explain a bug. I’m a Sales Manager, and I use Claap almost every day to keep our sales team on the same page without having to schedule tons of meetings. We record customer calls, product demos, feedback sessions, pipeline reviews, and sales coaching conversations so that every team member can watch them whenever they need to. This is especially helpful for salespeople because they can learn from real customer conversations instead of relying only on training documents. The searchable meeting transcripts, along with summaries and timestamped comments, save me a lot of time when I’m preparing for follow up meetings or reviewing what customers need. Before a customer call, I can quickly go back and see what we discussed previously, understand the problems the customer is dealing with, and make sure I don’t miss anything important. My team also uses Claap to share what’s working in sales, how to negotiate, and how to compete with other companies, which has helped us collaborate more effectively and share knowledge in a more consistent way. While Claap is really good at recording and sharing sales conversations, I think it could do more to give sales leaders the information they need. I’d like to see more detailed reporting that shows which training videos are watched most, how engaged employees are with the content we share, how well our coaching is working, and an easier way to understand how everyone on the team is learning over time. It would also help to have better ways to organize all of our recordings such as folders that can be automatically sorted along with stronger tools to keep everything tidy. Finally, if Claap could work more closely with our customer relationship management tool so we can connect what we learn from meetings to our sales opportunities, it would make our workflow even smoother. One of the biggest challenges I face as a sales manager is making sure every salesperson has the same information and is using the best methods, without needing to schedule a lot of meetings. Claap helps us by giving us one place to store our customer conversations, product demos, sales coaching sessions, and team updates, so everyone can access them whenever they need to. This cuts down on having to explain the same things over and over, gets new hires up to speed faster, helps our sales and customer success teams work together more smoothly, and allows managers to give more personalized coaching based on real customer conversations.
