I only use Citrix when I need to, I definitely prefer just using what my MacBook already has in place instead of opening Citrix. **Recommendations to others considering Citrix Gateway:** Make your bookmarks the same on your browser **What problems is Citrix Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is really great for when I have to fill out online forms. Safari on the MacBook just doesn't open them or display them properly. With Citrix I open Internet Explorer and I can fill out all the forms I need and do the things not possible on my MacBook's software. ### 8. The ease of logging in to Citrix with a secure token and username was nice too. **What do you dislike about Citrix Gateway?** At times the system would run very slow and if there was an issue or a bug at any point it would make it impossible to access systems necessary for work and it usually took awhile—hours—for the issue to be fixed. It never was solved quickly. **Recommendations to others considering Citrix Gateway:** There are bugs about once a week that effect work. **What problems is Citrix Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the healthcare industry security and HIPAA are a big concern and Netscaler was a great solution for having a secure server and keeping information private and making it harder for anyone else to be able to log on to my computer and access sensitive information. ### 11. This particular system is the worst I have used for hospital record retrieval. It is so complex and I hate that I have to use internet explorer. **Recommendations to others considering Citrix Gateway:** You have no choice if it is the choice of the hospital you have privileges at.
