Chronosync is dependable **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019 **What do you like best about ChronoSync?** Chronosync keeps my thousands of files up to date and organized between multiple hard drives. **What do you dislike about ChronoSync?** It took me a long time to learn how to use it in a consistent way (years) but my persistence paid off. It seems to be built for people who have a thorough understanding of computers and I am not at that level. There are a lot of ways to set up and use the software. It can be confusing. I'd recommend offering an alternative interface designed to communicate in an easier, step-by-step approach, perhaps illustrated, to make the experience more simple and full-proof. **Recommendations to others considering ChronoSync:** Try it out. It is probably capable of doing whatever you need. **What problems is ChronoSync solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm a designer with thousands of files, archived and in current use. I physically transport a remote hard drive between two offices, each with it's own Mac. I sync and update all three drives as I travel back and forth. I have redundancy in backup which is safer and I've found that I cannot achieve this kind of syncing online. Maintaining large graphic files locally enhances convenience and speed. ### 2. Again no complaints really. **What problems is ChronoSync solving and how is that benefiting you?** We a digital tech we are responisple for name conventions, qaulity managment and Digital Assest managment. Chronosync helps to take the burden off of Digital asset management for sure. ### 3. I find that the interface is intuitive and simple. **What do you dislike about ChronoSync?** You have to be extremely thorough in your planning and understand that Chronosync will duplicate without regard for content. If you corrupt your data content, it will faithfully and dutifully duplicate the data content.
