The scanning engine is noticeably faster and more stable. Previously recovered files occasionally opened corrupted, but recent updates have fixed that—every file I’ve restored this time worked perfectly. Also, the support team responded within hours and actually helped resolve a license activation issue without runaround. The free preview now loads almost instantly, even for large video files. The “money-back guarantee” terms could be displayed more prominently during checkout, and the self-service refund portal would benefit from an automated eligibility check. I started by rescuing a USB drive that failed mid-transfer and was able to save my files. The computer wouldn't even recognize the drive, begged for a formatting. Since then, I've used it for old external and even internal hard drives (bought a USB adapter to read them).
