And what's worse is that I can check the living with box for a client on my system and another person in my office can open the same client and it is not checked, so they don't see what I see until I remember they have to check the living with box. Sometimes there is pertinent information on a household but in a different clients screen, and if the user doesn't remember to check the living with button, they miss something. I would like to see the living with button defaulted to checked (as it seems to be on the assistance screen) with all the screens and the user can choose to uncheck it. **Recommendations to others considering CharityTracker:** I'm not sure for businesses, but Charity Tracker is a wonderful product for non-profits and if we could get linked up and see how we can help each other...even better. **What problems is CharityTracker solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the "double dipping" problem where clients who live in the same house are coming in separately to receive assistance. With our old system, we are rarely unable to detect it because it didn't link the addresses. Although I would like to see duplicate addresses automatically link clients together, however currently it doesn't unless you check the "living with" button on the relationship page. Again, the living with checkbox would be great if it were defaulted to checked and the user have the option to turn it off. ### 25. It increases the response to a client need invaluably. Without CharityTracker, it would take days of calling agencies and organizations to track down resources for clients. It is very user friendly and a great way to foster interagency cooperation. This has revolutionized the way that we refer clients to find resources through our partners. **What do you dislike about CharityTracker?** The only thing I have had any trouble with is connecting with the network administrator. It has been difficult to get any questions answered. I have left voicemails and emails, but haven't received a response. I am actually interested in upgrading to Charity Tracker Plus, but haven't been able to reach the administrator about it. I also am new to my organization and haven't been able to find my account information anywhere online to show what we are currently paying, how long we have been members, etc. **Recommendations to others considering CharityTracker:** Charity Tracker is an all-in-one case management software for our organization that allows us to share case files with partner agencies from our community. It has streamlined our entire case management process and has allowed us to stop relying on paper files and endless phone calls. **What problems is CharityTracker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Charity Tracker has completely modernized the case management process in our organization. Before using Charity Tracker, everything was only saved in paper files. I wish the name was a little less offensive. Also, it would be awesome if there was a way for the individuals to create group chats within the database to share documents with select groups of individuals. **Recommendations to others considering CharityTracker:** This is a great product, but just because the product is great does not mean it will be easy to implement in your community. This project will require great leadership and diligence. Also, consider adopting the whole-community charge vs. charging each organization individually to join. As mentioned above, we ask that Charity Tracker to serve 3 purposes (Emergency Assistance, Victim Services, and Volunteer Management and hours). We've asked Charity Tracker to serve as 3 specialized programs. It's a stretch for any program to do that much so sometimes features we ask about just aren't possible - that's completely understandable and to be expected. We are able to keep notes of our conversations with our clients private from other agencies, but we can also make public how we've helped them which allows our network agencies to confirm that we have helped and they can partner with us if they choose. I love the side bar of recent cases and recent searches that allow you to quickly find the clients for that day to add to your notes. I like that Charity Tracker notifies us if there is a chance of creating a duplicate record. And when I find duplicate records, it is easy to merge them. **What do you dislike about CharityTracker?** I haven't really come across any issues that negatively affect how we use Charity Tracker. It takes about 5 seconds to save each entry, but that could be due to our office wifi being so heavily used. I guess it would be helpful to have the ability to see more cases on the recent cases side bar.
