It's a great resource and also does a great job of monthly and yearly reports. **What problems is CharityTracker solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are seeing if there is a person abusing the local agencies by going to too many and we can talk between ourselves about a possible threat. Easy to use and train our volunteers. We like the choices available about which info is included. On the rare occasion there has been an issue, customer service has been available and swift with assistance. Through Charity Tracker, agencies can quickly run a large number of reports (through the use of filters) identifying total financial assistance, numbers of recipients by category - single moms, families, race, geographic location, dates of service, etc. which is fodder for grant-writing assistance. In addition, there is never a problem with service because of the instant chat capability or the friendly voice on the phone. It is always apparent that they care about giving good service. Customer service is their hallmark, and these folks care about communities and those in dire need within communities. They love us and pray for us. I ADORE Charity Tracker, and I have recommended it repeatedly and as often as I can. We all need to work together to be more efficient and more caring. **What do you dislike about CharityTracker?** There not a thing I dislike about Charity Tracker. I only dislike that more agencies refuse to use it for reasons they fabricate that are not true. **Recommendations to others considering CharityTracker:** Cannot recommend it more highly! **What problems is CharityTracker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Charity Tracker solves the problems of trying to find clients' records in various places. Here we have everyone's history, personal information, and dates of service within five minutes. We love being able to change phone numbers instantaneously, since our clients change phones like socks these days. When we can get to our records quickly and make the necessary changes without wasting time, it is a huge benefit. We also love being able to identify those who are using different names or slight changes in ID numbers, etc in order to get more assistance than is fair. We can instantaneously alert other agencies of fraud or problems that are critical before or while lending aid. With Charity Tracker, we have a means of announcing when food or other services will be available to our clients. We can invite others to programs or events in our area, as well. It's a blessing to all users. ### 21. You can see other Community Providers & the services they offer; you can look up constituents & their history of utilization; and you can post & reply to events & calls for service all in one place. **What do you dislike about CharityTracker?** It is underutilized. I have had many clients come to me saying they have already received services in the past, but when I look in Charity Tracker, there is nothing to be found. Also, I'll assist someone, who regularly utilizes community services, yet there never seems to be a valid ROI in the file. We use it for several departments, with volunteers and staff, so we are able to limit what other departments see. Folks at Simon Solutions are the best at customer service. I like that we can use it at multiple locations, have wifi and a computer, we have all the information of our database available. **What do you dislike about CharityTracker?** The report possibilities are awesome, but I have had to hunt and peck to find out how to use them. It would be awesome to have built in help button that would connect to a specific help page with video on how to. **Recommendations to others considering CharityTracker:** I have recommended this software and gave demonstrations of it to two of my agency friends. Both have told me that they are looking to implement it. Families that switch heads of household but claim same kids and each other. We operate multiple programs and used a database for each. It has really helped us track where our funds are going and the difference we are making. **What do you dislike about CharityTracker?** There are some features that I wish were more customizable (i.e. adding "vendor" to the assistance record to track who the bill was paid to, and "confirmation number") and some reporting features that would be really helpful if available. It would be nice if you could see a quick visual of the total assistance provided per individual or household YTD so you could have a quick idea of how much support they are receiving.
