Centiment stood out because it was the only service where a live person held our hand through the process. We got feedback on how to improve our survey and a suggestion to use an "attention check" question for confirming participants were reading the questions. So helpful. Pollfish was the cheapest per response, but they also had a lot of low quality, one word answers on open ended questions. SurveyMonkey was three times the price, and we never got the volume of responses we ordered, even though it was half of what we wanted from Centiment. For additional context, I was targeting marketing/advertising professionals. I will definitely use Centiment again. **What do you dislike about Centiment?** I wish Centiment's purchase process had more self-serve options, particularly around audience targeting. I would pay even more for responses than they charged if I could reach more specific people. **Recommendations to others considering Centiment:** Centiment starts with a quoting process, but everything uses modern tools. The quote shows up quickly, you can digitally sign them. They send invoices after the survey is complete, which can be paid with a credit card. It works with Typeform, which is nice. **What problems is Centiment solving and how is that benefiting you?** Centiment helps with sourcing survey participants. I've tried sourcing through ads on Facebook and LinkedIn, and the response rates have been terrible. I had gained quotes from several other companies and they either were not able to meet the study needs or their quote was far out of my budget. Kurt and and Derek were absolutely amazing. They walked me through the process (on a Sunday morning no less) were quick with all of their updates and deadlines and always available. I feel like both cared about my research and wanted to make sure it was a quality study and sample. In addition they offered a pilot study and reviewed every detail of my survey to make sure I had not overlooked anything. When the survey went live sound data was collected quickly and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. Centiment was able to deploy the survey quickly and to obtain a large and high quality sample, all for less than other survey firms had quoted us. Centiment also helped us address some important questions along the way. The survey results I've received have been great so far. I like that there is a soft launch, allowing me to sift through responses and ensure they are high quality and relevant. He has been great with eliminating responses that seem off or not legitimate, and that is the most important thing to have in my eyes. **What do you dislike about Centiment?** There's honestly nothing I've disliked about my experience so far. The most negative thing I can think of is that sometimes the answers don't seem realistic, but at the same time, when it comes to surveys, you're relying on people's own perceptions of how they think or feel. Sometimes people will unintentionally falsify information if they just don't know how to answer a question, or don't remember something correctly. But I don't believe that's a reflection of Centiment, that's a reflection of people. **Recommendations to others considering Centiment:** Centiment is great for recruiting survey respondents. The only thing I'm missing is gathering respondents for qualitative research, such as 1:1 interviews. However, Centiment does not advertise to do this, that's just personally a gap I'm missing. I would not hesitate to follow through with any quotes. **What problems is Centiment solving and how is that benefiting you?** At our company, we are creating personas and customer journey maps in order to shift the operations within our business to become more customer-centric and less operations-centric. While operations are vital, the customer perspective is just as important. We've used Centiment to gather survey responses, which in turn help drive the creation and development of our buyer personas. Without Centiment, we would have to use grassroots efforts in order to get participants for our survey. This takes a lot of time and effort -- I know because we tried in the past and still didn't get the number of respondents we've gotten through Centiment. With Centiment, I can eliminate the headache of finding people to respond to our survey. I also am backed by Centiment's great customer service, which means they'll look into any responses that seem sketchy. ### 21.
