Like all random device engagement panels, there is always some concerns about sample representativeness. We went with the DIY route for the most cost-efficient way of running our brand awareness. Programming the survey was a breeze - the logic was simple to put in place, and the question types were plentiful. Thomas was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I had as I went through the creation process, and even more helpful when it came time to soft launch. They found the audience we were after and we were able to gather some very helpful insights. The reporting is also easy to decipher / read. This is very useful because the expert can review your survey for mistakes and give you helpful suggestions on how to design your questions such that the survey will best-suit your needs. **What do you dislike about Centiment?** The survey building tool has a few bugs, but nothing that makes it difficult to use. One issue I had was when I tried to delete a question, it wouldn't let me because it thought other questions depended on it, even though I had removed all conditions associated with the question. Another issue is that if you want to add an "is selected" condition to a question based on another question that has too many select options (e.g. 50+), that question will hang during the survey indefinitely, I assume because the tool has trouble sorting through all of the options. One last issue I saw, which is more related to usability, is that the opinion-scale questions don't allow you to create scales below 5 points. But I would have liked to be able to create 3-point opinion scales, as those types of questions are quicker to answer. **What problems is Centiment solving and how is that benefiting you?** Centiment is allowing me to conduct useful research about the market and audience that my business is pursuing. We simply sent them the questions we wanted to ask, they helped us optimize them to get the best results, and they even built the survey for us, which helped with automation elements, and so that we were hitting the right audience. The results came quickly, and the dashboard display for those results was straightforward to read and filter down in many different ways. We've completed two surveys and have enough data to run content plans for a significant time; plus, we made two major reports out of it for our content marketing efforts. **What do you dislike about Centiment?** I didn't dislike anything. It was exactly what I was looking for out of a survey company that could hit the IT/MSP space. My suggestion would be to follow up with them after you get your results and have the team walk you through what the results dashboard can really do for you, how you can filter results, and get the most out of the data. He walked me through setup, expectations, and alternate ways to ask questions to gain better insights, and was extremely prompt. Whenever I emailed a question, I always had a callback, an email response, or both within 12 hours or so. He helped setup the test and add our two screening/qualifying questions into the logic, really supportive throughout. We needed at least 200 reviews, but ended up with 265 or so. Exceeded expectations, I'd use them again. **What do you dislike about Centiment?** Nothing really! If I had to think of two things, one would just be that I think each of these polling providers reaches a different network of survey takers. They're super quick to respond to any questions I have or requests for cost estimates. They act almost as consultants, providing feedback on the survey questions if needed and getting creative about how to find the audience you're looking for. The results are high quality and feel more reputable than just blasting the survey broadly. I often pitch my survey results to press or include the data in press releases, and being able to add Centiment to the methodology piece adds credibility. You also get a guaranteed number of responses, based on how many you want, which provides peace of mind. **What do you dislike about Centiment?** There's nothing I don't like really. For these, we go to some of the pricier panel providers and expert networks. Overall the whole process was easy, clear, and they answered all of my questions before the project start, during, and even after the sale and project was complete in a personal and very helpful way.
