I love the training that it provides so when I am selling a candidate on a role. This is one of my key selling points.

I wish we could merge people from different jobs to get scores like we used too instead of having them take multiple assessments.

**What do you like best about Cangrade?**

What I appreciate most about Cangrade is the way it effortlessly blends scientific rigor with user-friendly simplicity. The platform leverages data-driven predictive analytics to assess not only a candidate’s skills but also their suitability and potential for success in a particular role. It stands out from typical personality tests by serving as a truly predictive tool that helps minimize bias and enhance hiring results.

The dashboard and reporting features are straightforward and easy to navigate, which makes interpreting results and sharing insights with hiring managers a smooth process. I also value that Cangrade’s insights extend beyond initial assessments, offering useful guidance throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including hiring, development, and retention planning.  The ease of integration with UKG is also outstanding.  

Additionally, the customer support team is exceptional. They are quick to respond, provide thoughtful advice, and are genuinely committed to helping users make the most of the data.

**What do you dislike about Cangrade?**

I have no negative comments to offer. My experience from beginning to end has been straightforward, and I find the tool to be excellent.

**What problems is Cangrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cangrade has been instrumental in bringing greater objectivity and consistency to our apprenticeship selection process. One of our main challenges is finding candidates who not only fulfill the technical requirements but also possess the right mindset, motivation, and soft skills necessary to thrive in a hands-on learning environment.

The assessment provided by Cangrade offers us data-driven insights into each applicant’s potential, work style, and suitability for the program. This enables us to make decisions that are both more confident and equitable. It helps minimize bias, accelerates the screening process, and increases the likelihood that we select apprentices who will complete the program and develop into long-term, skilled employees.

Cangrade allows us to look beyond resumes and test scores, giving us a deeper understanding of the individuals behind each application. We look forward to having stronger engagement from candidates, higher retention rates, and better alignment between our training outcomes and workforce needs.

I like that Cangrade helps us get insight on a person before the interview happens. The questions asked in Cangrade help us know how a potential staff member thinks, how they learn, and how they process things. It also weeds out the people who do not qualify for the job, and the initial setup was really easy.

Assessments are customizable. Generative AI feature allows for easy creation. The Cangrade team is always willing to help and respond in a timely manner.

Reports don't always work as they should. However, the development team usually takes care of any issues quickly.

**What problems is Cangrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to conduct mass recruitments in a short period of time. This has saved our department a lot of time and assisted with recruiting of critical positions.

**What do you like best about Cangrade?**

The results are provided in a digestible, "quick tips" format that requires very little forethought to utilize. For those intimately familiar with assessments it might not seem like an obstacle to read results and be able to derive meaningful insights, but handing off results to a hiring manager whose first and only experience may only be this very first set of results from CanGrade, it's very useful to have the top driving factors, and interview tips provided at a quick glance in a plain English format. No advance preparation or training is required to be able to gain insight from the results.

**What do you dislike about Cangrade?**

Some of our users like to self-author portions of tests, to be able to customize to individual preferences from clients/hiring managers. It would be terrific to be able to add a portion that is self-authored and not graded (or graded according to our own answer key pass/fail criteria, not as part of the CanGrade score), so that the two could be done in tandem together. I would not consider this a dislike so much as simply a new layer that would be nice.

**What problems is Cangrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've identified that our internal promotions lack insight into a candidates potential threshold for stress management, or emotional intelligence etc, and CanGrade solves this by providing those exact insights. While nothing is able to accurately predict the future or whether a person is destined to succeed or fail, and it is still ultimately up to a human being to make wise choices and apply their intuition, CanGrade provides additional information so that any given recruiter or hiring manager is armed with more information to make a better choice. In particualr, it also helps to increase visibility on any potential challenges/shortcomings, so that as an interviewer, we're able to probe into those topics more easliy and with guidance.

Hard skills tests aren't as reliable/useful for our hiring managers (in my opinion) as the personality assessment results.

Assessing all of our candidates! This is a big upgrade for us because we were only consistently assessing people managers and sales employees previously.

It can sometimes be hard to "trust" the data and results of the assessment, especially when a candidate has the experience we are seeking but does not 'pass' the assessment.  Outside of that, we have enjoyed working with the Cangrade team to continue improving our hiring process.

Due to the high volume of candidates that apply to our roles, Cangrade has helped us filter out candidates at the top of funnel.

There really isn't anything we've disliked thus far.

**What do you like best about Cangrade?**

Cangrade was extremely helpful in assisting us with our hiring needs. When we started with Cangrade we were looking for a way to duplicate our top talents' positive traits. Cangrade was able to provide us with assessments that were benchmarked against our top performer's personality traits. So we were able to screen much better and the end resulted in hiring better sales professionals and growing our business. Cangrade has been a vital part of our growth and success over the last couple of years. Gershon, Jenn, and Liana were all spectacular to work with and made sure to keep our assessments up to date with new information and assist any time we needed it. Cangrade cared about our business, and that spoke volumes. I would highly recommend Can grade and their people. They get it.

Not much negative to say, I hope to see Can grade continue to grow its platform and concepts.

**Recommendations to others considering Cangrade:**

I think you have to give Cangrade a shot. Their ability to extract data and create ways to use that data to improve the hiring process is unparalleled. We saw a great increase in the quality of salespeople in our company and that was a direct reflection of Cangrade and the efforts of their team. We were able to retain people longer, and create a better work environment because the teams were built with characteristic traits that worked based on Cangrades data from their assessments.

Cangrade allowed us to screen better. This helped us not only in the efficiencies of interviewing the right candidates and not wasting our time, but also helped steer us away from traits that we knew were not successful in our organization. We were able to cut down turnover because of this and therefore this increased our bottom line.

Being able to run multiple reports for a assessment with a candidates profile. Integration with Greenhouse and Cangrade has been helpful.

**What do you dislike about Cangrade?**

Having to pull a report for each candidate. Since all test show in the candidates profile it can take some time to see if someone has passed for another role. The integration is awesome but there are a few hiccups that we are working through right now.

**Recommendations to others considering Cangrade:**

If you want to try something new or a new function, ask! Cangrade can be amazing with working with Wayfair in improving what we might need for functionality. Jen (our req) has been amazing and so responsive. She is so easy and fast to answer any and all questions!

Being able to find people who passed for a job sent from a specific recruiter or a time frame.

The assessment report is easy to read and understand.  The sample questions are very strong and help guide our Managers learn more about candidates behaviors and experience levels.

**What do you dislike about Cangrade?**

The only thing I can think of is the inability to resend assessment invitations to candidates through CareerBuilder ATS.

**Recommendations to others considering Cangrade:**

Would really like the ability to resend assessment links to candidates via CareerBuilder ATS.  The majority of users don't have access to the Cangrade site so they rely on most actions to take place in the ATS.

While I am not directly responsible for hiring, I know that our Hiring Managers value the findings on the assessment and can help coach and train employees on areas of development that arise early on.

The Cangrade team is great to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed for a successful roll out. They are thoughtful in their approach and make sure to cross every "t" and dot every "i". Not only is it a great team to work with, but its a great tool to screen candidates and we have seen a huge impact in the quality of our candidates since we launched it.

Nothing to dislike! If I have any questions or were to run into any issues, they are responded to immediately.

Highly recommend if you are indeed looking for better hires.

We needed to create efficiencies in our candidate screening process without sacrificing candidate quality.  We also wanted to implement a tool to promote diversity hiring and ensure equity within our recruiting processes.  So far, Cangrade has exceeded our expectations on both fronts.

A talented team of data scientists with an inquisitive nature, dedicated to solving your unique business problems. The results and solutions are not just a boiler-plate format. The results work - we have better new hires with quantifiable improvements on KPIs.

While the coordinating development content is good, it doesn't sync with our existing learning systems. Looking for ways to improve this.

Using behavioral analytics for recruiting and talent development has proven to be an effective and efficient. We've seen the results for over 5 years and understand the benefits of utilizing a data-driven approach.

I really enjoy partnering with the Cangrade team they provide use so many great recommendations. We have now created a typing test that meets the need for our group. It was very customizable to what we are hoping to get from candidates.

1. The personalized attention from our dedicated account manager.  She keeps us on track with all deadlines and has become a true thought partner to the talent team and countless stakeholders throughout the organization.
2. The thorough care that Cangrade takes to truly understand what drives success in each of our unique roles and then create a very calibrated profile (then showcasing the impact through the validation process).

Easy to use, the integration between the platforms we use here at Wayfair is a great feature. It helps with our process for hiring making it more efficient and using less clicks to finish.  Works great with our ATS and easily tracks our candidates scores!

Filtering with-in Cangrade being limited to 20 applicants per page and limited availability to sorting candidates by multiple filters.

**What do you like best about Cangrade?**

There is real science behind every solution and the Cangrade team goes above and beyond to make sure that we understand how the science works. Additionally, every person we've interacted with has been hands-on, extremely helpful, and, most importantly, super easy to get in contact with. I never have to wait on hold for someone to be available or send support emails that go unanswered.

I don't particularly dislike anything about Cangrade. It is definitely worth noting that Cangrade isn't necessarily a low-lift solution that you set and forget. There's a reason why the tools work so well, and they require full participation on the customer side to get started. The team at Cangrade is wonderful and will work at your pace, but it might not be the right fit for a company that is merely looking to automate whatever they've been doing without fixing their process.

Cangrade has been a game changer for our company providing further efficiency to gauge candidates skills relating to the role. The Cangrade team is extremely helpful and consistently works closely with our team to help us with improvements and ideas.

Cangrade integrates with our current ATS (Greenhouse), but we have seen some difficulties with a seamless integration. Of course it is expected for there to be hiccups with any system integration. The Cangrade team has been there every step of the way and works closely with our ATS team to improve.

When you're working with Assessments and it can definitely lead to uncomfortable conversations with people. It's sometimes hard to "trust" the data instead of your gut when evaluating people. The people at Cangrade have really worked on getting information in front of us to help with those conversations. While it is and has been a need... I am really appreciative of the work they have done to improve in this area.

**What do you like best about Cangrade?**

Exemplary and Professional Solutions and Service. The Sales Team, Data Scientists and Customer Success team are all working together with us to understand customer needs and present flexible solutions. If they don't have a solution in place, they will create one and they do it much faster than a typical large vendor. Their size and strong resources allow them to be nimble with solutions that are effective.

**What do you dislike about Cangrade?**

The initial challenge we had was that Cangrade was not Workday certified. They quickly addressed the need by first developing a simple workaround  and ultimately they were able to develop a Workday integration solution. They partnered with us and our HRIS team  to implement it quickly and effectively.

**What problems is Cangrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying and selecting the best talent for key  roles. We partnered with Cangrade to define the key personality traits for the selected profiles and these profiles help us in our interviewing, selection, and developmental plans. We are still working through the ROI however we believe the models to be 50-60% valid which is extremely high. We are just beginning to track terminations and it appears that a significant percentage of terminated employees are in the lower scoring "wildcard" or "poor" fit. I like that the model continues to learn over time  and it will not become stagnant as new data fed into the model will continue to refine its validity and value.

Honestly, the Cangrade team has been incredible to work with. Jen is so detail oriented, responsive, easy to communicate with, and there every step of the way for our team. The Cangrade site itself is incredibly user-friendly, slick and intuitive. Two thumbs up!

There is nothing that I "dislike"; however, understanding how to discuss and interpret the results has certainly been a learning curve for our team. There is not much to dislike. The creation of Success Models require a bit of work from HR, but it's well worth it.

We have been working with Cangrade for almost 1 year now as a bolt-on product to our applicant tracking system.  Honestly, they are one of the best vendors we partner with.   Gershon and the team are available & respond quickly to questions, trouble shooting and new feature requests.  The thing I appreciate most, is they don’t over-promise & under deliver.  Other vendors often say they have exactly what we need to solve all of our problems & they can make anything work with no problem.  However, once we sign the contract, we find the opposite is often true.  During implementation, the Cangrade team was very transparent & would say that they thought they could make it work or that they had ideas for solutions, but would need time to look into & confirm.   And typically, they have been able to deliver solutions no matter what we request.  But, it was just the transparency of saying, “Let us take time to look into it to make sure we can do this” that I really appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Cangrade?**

Currently, I still have some steps in our process that I have to complete manually & I am a little worried about scale ability as we roll the process/questionnaire to multiple locations across the United States.  However, I feel confident that as we continue with our partnership, the Cangrade team will find additional solutions to hopefully help decrease the manual work between our ATS & their system.
