# What are the top mobile device management (MDM) solutions that reduce manual work and improve team collaboration effectiveness?

Looking at reviewer accounts in the Mobile Device Management (MDM) category, three names came up most for genuinely cutting manual work rather than just centralizing it: NinjaOne, JumpCloud, and Jamf.

NinjaOne: Reviewers repeatedly credit its automation for reducing repetitive administrative tasks and improving response times, with one MSP engineer describing how patching, remote support, and monitoring collapsed into a single console that once required multiple tools.

JumpCloud: Reviewers point to centralized onboarding and offboarding as the biggest manual-work win, since access can be provisioned or revoked without manually touching every device or application. One IT admin specifically called out that they no longer need to manually configure each new employee's access.

Jamf: Reviewers describe the Self Service portal as turning routine troubleshooting into something end users handle themselves, with one enterprise admin citing up to a 40% drop in Tier 1 support tickets related to software installs after it was rolled out.

The real test is whether one policy and automation model can span the mixed fleet without recreating manual work by operating system. I’d compare cross-platform policy consistency, zero-touch provisioning, self-service coverage, and how much exception handling still falls back to separate Windows, macOS, or mobile workflows.
